Big Monster Sushi Food Truck (KOLOA)
3477 Weliweli Rd, KoloaWe had two sushi rolls, a sushi burrito, and a poke bowl. All were great! We were going to comeback two nights later, but they are closed on Sundays. A repeat visit is a must before our vacation ends.
Edit - We came back for a second round and the sushi was great again!

5521 Koloa Rd, KoloaFantastic drinks, good music, baristas we're wonderful to talk with. We were looking for an introvert-friendly atmosphere and found a wonderful cozy place to read and reset.
The drinks we tried were The Champ and the Salted Maple. I highly recommend trying both!

Our waitress was very friendly, but the support staff person seemed miserable and couldn't be bothered to smile or greet us when she brought our waters. The open air feel of the restaurant was nice for a sunset dinner. Prices seemed on the high side for the types of dishes served and portion sizes.

Puka Dog Hawaiian Style Hot Dogs
2100 Hoone Rd, KoloaThere was a line that went around the building BUT it moves fast because they have an efficient system that works. One person places the order, another person squeezes all the lemonade, one cooks the hot dogs, and one adds the sauces into the bun, then the polish or veggie dog. So from placing your order to actually getting your food was less than 3 minutes. They also had step by step instructions on what to order, which was helpful since It was my first Hawaiian Hot dog; which was actually a Polish. I chose the MILD garlic lemon secret sauce and the Mango Relish with Lilikoi Hawaiian Mustard. It was really darn good. The fact that it was vertical (or at least thats how I ate it) meant most of the tasty sauces were near the bottom. Regardless, I enjoyed the flavors. Thanks, Puka dog for allowing me to try something old as something new!
