Kauai Pet Boarding & Grooming
4461 Omao Rd, KoloaMy two dogs, an Aussie & Lab, had an amazing time while they were boarded with them for 10 days!! They got to play with all of the other dogs, we received daily updates and report cards, and reassurance whenever we needed it! They are the best!! Shoutout to Tanis especially!! Great prices, communication, boarding, grooming, and team.

Porky's Kaua’i
5460 Koloa Rd, KoloaWe were in Hawaii for 12 days and ate here three times.
The number three with pork and pineapple on a grilled cheese sandwich was great and we love the pickled red onions and cucumbers.
The banana nut bread made with local bananas was good.

Eden Coffee Koloa
3477 Weliweli Rd, KoloaOne of the smoothest, most balanced, most refreshing ice lattes on the island.

Leahi Health Kaua’i
3450 Poipu Rd Ste. 15-01, KoloaThe açaí bowls are bigger than your head, filled generously with fresh fruit and they don’t taste too banana-y. We also ordered the Baja and beet tacos. Everything was so good, we might change our vacations plans to return again before heading home. Updated from previous review on 2026-03-27

Waikomo Shave Ice
2827 Poipu Rd, KoloaGood but not my favorite. Surprisingly basic and simple, feels more traditional style. That’s not bad but I prefer a more modern take I guess. I would still go back and recommend if in the area. Friendly staff and helpful.

Dim 'N' Den Sum
5371 Koloa Rd, KoloaThe Bao Trio Platter was a creative fusion of stuffed bao buns in taco fashion. The coconut shrimp bao was easily my favorite while the other two were still full of flavor.
Definitely try this place out.

Kauai Juice Co Koloa
5460 Koloa Rd, KoloaThe food and juices look very fresh and the quality seems great. However, I was surprised that they didn’t have any type of bag available for customers. We were given a box, which was uncomfortable to carry around. Even if the intention is to reduce waste and help the planet, there are plenty of eco-friendly bag options out there, and I wouldn’t mind paying for one. It would make the experience much more convenient. Hopefully they consider offering at least some type of carry option in the future, because the products themselves deserve it.

Riptides Shave Ice & Snacks Kauai
5021 Lawai Rd, KoloaThe best shave ice we have had on Kauai!!! The fruit syrups were insanely good and the shave ice texture is so fluffy. We had a mango and guava with snow cap, and a mango and strawberry with Mac nut ice cream and snow cap. Absolutely delicious! Service was friendly and the views are awesome too. Will definitely return before we head home.

Mango's
5460 Koloa Rd E101, KoloaMango’s in Kauai is a fantastic stop when you’re craving something sweet. It’s a simple, easygoing spot that delivers exactly what you’re looking for—a delicious treat that hits the spot. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care, making it the perfect place to pop into after a day of exploring the island.
If you have a sweet tooth, Mango’s is definitely worth a visit. It’s a great little gem to satisfy a dessert craving while enjoying the relaxed Kauai vibe.

The Cabana Bar & Grill
2290 Poipu Rd #9533, KoloaThe options may be sparse, but dang if they’re not tasty! The taro burger and sweet potato fries were excellent. Even the rice and broccoli we ordered as sides for the kids were good! Our one complaint was that the server wasn’t the most knowledgeable about the ingredients. After double checking that the burgers were vegan as-is, she asked if we wanted cheese on them. This made us apprehensive about the other ingredients (specifically the brioche bun) but luckily the server was very friendly and confirmed with the kitchen that it was dairy and egg free. Overall, we had a great meal! Updated from previous review on 2026-03-30
