4461 Omao Road, KoloaI have a black hound mix cloaksy, Amy did wonderfully with my boy. She is patient and gentle and has a way of allowing a dog to relax in her presence while grooming. My cloaksy has an unknown history with grooming, I adopted him recently. She understood the assignment. She did his nails he he was a little scared but her calm nature calmed him. He doesn't like water, but she was able to bath him quickly, and her technique with his ears made him so happy. He came out a whole new doggy, with the deshedding and smelled like blueberries. She really gave him a positive foundation for future grooms. I only wish I could take her to colorado with me for him.

3477 Weliweli Road, KoloaWe’re a family of 10 visiting from Orange County, so we’re spoiled when it comes to sushi… and Big Monster absolutely delivered. We ordered a massive platter for the group, and it wasn’t just delicious, it was genuinely artistic! Every roll was fresh, generous, and clearly made with care.
Mai took great care of us and was an absolute gem - kind, communicative, and made ordering for a big group so easy.
Don’t sleep on the Thai food either! We added chicken pad thai and potstickers and they disappeared just as fast as the sushi.
If you’re near Poipu and want a sushi platter that can feed a crowd without sacrificing quality, this is the spot. We’ll be back every trip to Kauai. Mahalo, Big Monster! 🐙🍣

3390 Poipu Rd, Koloathis place feels like a hidden gem. it’s tucked away in the quiet Old Koloa Town, but there is constantly a line. there are so many types of poke to choose from, and we got the 3-poke 3-sides combo to share between two people, which was a great portion. every poke we tried was delicious. large portions, no fuss and extremely fresh. Easily the best poke we had in Hawaii. i’m so glad I tried out this place on our trip. note: this place offers take-out only so you either eat outside of the shop in the patio or in your car.
