Kapolei Regional Park is a very big and nice park with a beautiful, open environment and a great breeze. It offers plenty of space for picnics on the grass, sports like flag football, and relaxing in a hammock. The park has a playground, restrooms, and some benches. However, the playground needs more shade and the restrooms sometimes have issues. Parking is difficult and police patrol to ticket illegal parking. The large, mostly empty field could use more amenities like picnic tables, water fountains, and a dedicated dog park. While dog-friendly, visitors should watch where they walk. The park provides lots of space where people don't feel on top of each other.
