Big Island Meadery offers a beautiful, gorgeous, and relaxed atmosphere in a sterilized and intimate venue. The mead is delicious, amazing, and second to none, tasting like how wine should taste, with all honey made in house. Standout drinks include the guava meli mead, the Not Toddy, the ginger lilikoi slush, and the lychee or Albizia Homer paired with cheese and bread. The staff and owner are aloha spirited, knowledgeable, friendly, and experienced. Different food trucks visit every Saturday. It is a great place to unwind, a must-do visit, and an excellent experience for purchasing flights, bottles, growlers, honeys, and candles to take home.

We stopped in expecting to just buy a bottle, and we ended up doing 3 flights, a bottle, some honeys and a few candles between the two of us, and I just wish we'd had more room in our luggage! Such great mead and the staff is so knowledgeable. Definitely a must do while visiting the big island. All the flavors were so fun! Loved it!
