“It is really inexpensive. It is really good to recycle things instead of throwing them out or bringing to the dump. You will need an appointment to donate/drop off things. If you really want bargains, you can work as a volunteer and get things practically free.”
“Best swimming pool in Maui as is very well heated all times and clean, 25 meters and not crowded. Has zumba, pilates etc. Gym and gardening.Very Clean. Just a best YMCA I ever been to! Congrats”
“I go to the Maui food bank often to pick food for my clients who are unable to get to distribution centers. The staff that work here are absolutely amazing. They are extremely helpful, welcoming and fun to talk to! I can't thank them enough for everything they do!”
“This facility is well organized and the programs that I have tried are very effective. The processes can be stressful for highly sensitive people, but overall I think this place is a great place to receive treatment.”
“Wonderful homage to Hawaiian veterans. Thanks to Mr. Muraoka's stories we were enlightened about his dad, his own story and the service of many Hawaiian service men and women.”
“Bought popcorn to support the troops, shipmemt was late to Hawaii and is on its way. Lots of help from staff and information about order. Thankful for the help and commitment from the Boy Scouts of Maui.”
“Family Life center basically has saved my life. I was living in my car for four months and not only did they help me get out of my car, they found me a place to live in Kihei. Of course this is a miracle. Nicole especially is truly like/is an angel , I really mean that . She's uncommonly compassionate and sincere. Eva the manager is also very kind and takes care of things quickly. Everyone at Family Life Center is very professional. Gary J. "Uncle". ( Kihei, Maui )”

“It was great. My mom had a return and the cashier had a heart and allowed her to do an exchange. It can also be a treasure hunt. I found a few good scores under twenty bucks”
“Loko i'a, Hawaiian fishponds, are unique aquaculture systems that exist throughout Hawai'i, and continue to feed and connect communities around the islands.I have been following in the footsteps of Uncles Kimokeo Kapahulehua and Vicente Rubio in revitalizing the fish pond. Every pohaku (stone) is laid by hand, no machines. If you go to visit this fish pond you will likely see one or more of us working on the wall. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have about the fish pond and be respectful to the sea life that are there.”
