Makena Landing Park is a great little beach and snorkel spot with clean water. It is a super fun place to swim, snorkel, and picnic, with a small beach and grassy areas perfect for laying out. There is a high probability of seeing turtles, lots of fish big and small, and sometimes manta rays or dolphins. It is also a great place to launch a kayak or paddleboard, and for whale watching in winter. There are public bathrooms and showers. Parking is limited and can be challenging, with a small lot and some street spots, so coming early is advised. The snorkeling is easy and calm for kiddos.

Good for big families, big backs..a little overcrowded. Good place to snorkel with your kids or elderly grandparents.

This is a great little beach with high probability of seeing turtles. There are public bathrooms and showers. Not a ton of parking so come early. There is a grass area thats perfect for picnics or laying out without getting covered in sand.
