“Rating the store front and quality of clothes. I was introduced to Kūlua through the Made in Hawaii festival and fell in love with the prints, softness of fabric, and customer service! They're so so kind. I was excited to visit the storefront and was not disappointed. There's lots of parking, the store is open and bright. There's a clearance section, but I love that it appears to also house the patterns for the clothes! When I was shopping, I'm pretty sure the owner was also cutting fabric. So cool to see the clothes being made! I tried on a dress, which the owner pointed out was a little shorter than the others. She offered to make another one if I wanted a longer length. I thought that was such a nice gesture!”

“This is another store in Waksman that caters to children and infants. Cute books, clothing and puppets. They also have a nice selection of locally sourced women's jewelry. The puppets and clothing are all locally made and we ended up getting a sea turtle puppet and a Hawaiian shirt for our grandson. The owner of the store was there and we ended up chatting for quite a while about the town, the stores and the people that live there. The town is a fun little place to visit with great shops, good food and a slow place. Stop and check it out.”

“The best customer service in person and over the phone < I haven't shop on the website yet. They take the time to make you feel special and they know their product very well. My husband just got me a dress for our anniversary and they helped him all the way... and did very well without knowing me!! They also wrote a personalized card to say happy anniversary ... no one does that any more!! Their store in Makawao is beautiful and they have clothing and beautiful jewelry. I couldn’t recommend this place more.”
