“I've been in this store twice. The first time I popped in for a few answers. They both tried to workshop my issue even though it wasn't done at store level.
As I was just sitting patiently waiting for our turn I saw a young woman sell an 'Uncle' (a Hawaiian euphemism for sir) his first android. She was asking leading questions and it became clear he was out of his comfort level. I felt so fortunate to observe how beautiful this woman handled him with grace and compassion he clearly appreciated. Living alone was ascertain by her questions, and it became apparent he may need more support, which she also conveyed she could provide.
When it was our turn, I explained how genuine that interaction was and asked her if I could hug her for such great kindness she showed with Uncle. With a big smile she said sure and flipped her arms open.
That is just a little aloha spirit that is present here, but not often enough to that degree.”

“Some of the friendliest cashews I’ve come across at any 7-Eleven. I’m just stoked to receive such killer. Customer service right here in my hometown. Lohi and Lora in particular where a very friendly and helpful. So much so that despite the fact, I was having a rough day today, I left the store with a smile after such a pleasant shopping experience! Come stop by anytime and you guys will have a great shopping experience, guaranteed. Aloha and have a great day.”

“If you’re looking for a quick bite on the way to the volcano and variety of island foods this is it! The food is all prepared in Hawaii and they keep it really well stocked any time of day! They have a huge fueling station so there’s never a wait for gas and the folks that work here are fast and friendly.”

“They had a lot of food in the front of the store, perfect for a lunch or dinner. If you've ever been to Japan, the 7-Eleven is very similar. The only negatives were there were several homeless outside. The cashiers seem like they were angry and not happy to be there.”
