“The 2 women working there were great. Made for a mostly painless process to rent to own a couch. They were both very knowledgeable and tried to get me thru the paperwork as quickly as possible. Only problem they seemed to have was their computers seemed to keep freezing up and running extra slow which kind of made the process a bit more difficult then it needed to be. And you guys only had one small couch that could be sold by itself. Wanted a love seat but for some reason I can’t just buy a loveseat, had to buy the couch that matched it, and I’m not looking to buy both. Luckily she had the one small couch that she was able to offer to sell to me.”
“Called to request a quote, they connected me to Jim. He diagnosed the issue and asked that I checked a few things. I followed his suggestion and it fixed my electrical problem, thanks! I highly recommend doing business with Hirayama.”

“Part of the tourist experience if you hail from the Midwest is visiting a local 7-11. For those of you who are local, 7-11s in the American Midwest ( between the East and West Coast, the Great Plains, the Great Lakes, big post-industrial cities and disappearing farmland) where 7-11s are place of horrendous coffee, insulting service, dirty public restrooms, and botulism. But 7-11s in Hawai'i have fresh coffee, friendly service, and awesome local taste snack foods. Some of the best Spam Musubi is found in Hawai'ian 7-Elevens. It's like they are not even the same corporation. Still open all the time. Instead of the "I'll help who's next in line," and "have a nice rest of your day," the woman working here actually talked to me like I'm a human being albeit in local Pidgin (which made it seem even friendlier). Mahalo!”

The only difference I've experienced is with the employees. Different personalities and level of service. I've always gotten excellent service, never had any problems, and they always thank me for my business”

“Lexi was easily the BEST sales person I have ever dealt with in the entire USA. I am from Boston MA. I live in CT now, work in Manhattan NYC and have frequented the entire east coast - I’m working my way west. Lexi was welcoming, professional, knowledgeable amongst several other qualities. She is a strong asset to the team. I was traveling to Hawaii for my first time and needed to replace my phone. It was effortless. Quick. No pushy sales, straight to the point. She deserves major credit for what she does at the Hilo location. Her leadership shows through her colleagues who hype her up and go straight to her for any answers, I’m sure they’ll vouch for this. What a wonderful team overall. I came in the end of September 2025. This was the cleanest, most chic T-mobile I have ever stepped foot in. 12/10. T-Mobile has the best deals, but this is a GREAT store. They deserve major recognition. The only downfall is the shipping to Hawaii. Not workers fault, corporate let’s do better!! Also S/O to Lexi again for wonderful food recommendations, again she went above and beyond. Mahalo ?”
“I would have given a 5‑star rating if I were rating only the representative who helped me. Marshall explained everything clearly, seemed genuinely on the customer’s side, and wasn’t focused on pushing sales or chasing commissions. He was very knowledgeable and provided exceptional customer service. I honestly couldn’t have asked for better support.
However, the overall experience was negatively affected by the wait time and check‑in process. I was quoted a 13‑minute wait when I checked in, but ended up waiting about 55 minutes. The check‑in device even allowed me to select a specific worker by name, which I did, only to find out that person wasn’t working that day.”

“Technician was professional and courteous. Only issue was he stated it would cost about $1000 for parts to fix my washer but my email receipt only shows an estimate of $567. I need an email with the estimate that it might cost around $1000in order to make a claim to my Allstate insurance. The estimate needs to show that it would cost more to fix than the $698 I paid for the washer.”
