Ho'okipa Beach Park is a stunningly beautiful spot on Maui, easily accessible off Hana Highway near Paia. It is a popular destination for both locals and tourists, known for its incredible sea turtles. Visitors can often see these large turtles on the beach and in the water, especially between 11 AM and 4 PM when they come to sunbathe. The park offers limited facilities, including some clean toilets, but visitors are encouraged to bring their own food and water. The picnic area features multiple covered tables and a BBQ area, though it may not be the cleanest. Parking is available but can fill up quickly, and while the beach is great for watching surfers and wind surfers, swimming can be challenging due to rocky areas. Guests are reminded to keep a safe distance from the turtles and to enjoy the area's natural beauty responsibly.
Beautiful scenery, great place to watch the locals surfing and of course the turtles on the beach. My wife counted 44 large sea turtles laying on the beach. Quite a site to see! 😎 🤙

Sea turtles chilling on the beach with surfers. Nice place to see quickly and there are random wild chickens roaming on the view point nearby
