Kepaniwai Park is a beautiful and clean park located on the way to Iao Valley State Park. It is a small, yet stunning area that offers amazing views and a picturesque location surrounded by valley walls. The park features lovely gardens, ponds, and various structures that honor the diverse backgrounds of the ethnic peoples who settled in Hawaii, including Korean, Thai, Japanese, Chinese, Portuguese, and English influences. Visitors can enjoy a mountain stream for swimming, take photos, and learn about the cultural legacy of Maui. The park also has large, clean restrooms and is a popular spot for picnics and gatherings. Best of all, it is free to enter, making it a must-visit stop for anyone exploring the area.
Beautiful! Go here! We last minute stopped by and loved it!

This park was not on our radar when we headed to see the Iao Valley, but I am so glad we stopped in. The views from the park are amazing. Not to mention all the park has to offer. Put this on your list of places to stop. You'll be glad you did.

This is a nice park to stop by on the way to the Iao Monument. It seems to be an international park, with signs and sculptures reflecting Korean, Thai, Japanese, and Chinese influences. Although it's a very small park, the biggest advantage is that it’s great for taking photos.
