“We shop here weekly. Our only complaint is with their baggers. They double team and expect you to tip both baggers, when it can easily be done by one bagger, as our weekly cart load is minimal. Then they talk loud enough for you to hear that you only gave a $2 tip and shows it to other baggers. If you’re so hard up, then get a real paying job, and not a volunteer job that just pays tips. Please do not shame your customers when they only give you a $2 tip. We’re hit with the same economic hardships like you, and we can also choose not to tip as well.”
“Foodland Wahiawa is all about the people. And by people, I mean the loyal staff that has worked there for years. Foodland has gotten more costly over the years but continues to offer a small verity of fresh local produce which I appreciate.
The savory pastries such as the ham and cheese danish is delicious and a favorite for a busy morning but please please have some one adjust the proofing process! It has been so sad and flat so I have not been buying it.
Thank you for having an amazing staff! Employees like Nick, Donna, Michael, Christy, Heidi and countless others are why I keep choosing foodland Wahiawa. They remember my kids and have genuine aloha for their customers.
The 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the cost and need for attention to the bakery/consistency of our favorites. Staff gets 5 stars.”
