About Hoa ʻĀina O Mākaha
Hoa ʻAina O Makaha is an amazing community farm open to the public once a month on Saturday for a donation. It is an educational place great for kids to explore and learn about different plants and farm animals. Visitors can pick amazing mangos, bok choy, and candy apple bananas. The staff are wonderful people, great for the soul, with so much aloha. It is a great farm where kids can plant seeds and make sugar cane juice.

This educational resource center is a wonderful place for all ages to visit and take in its peaceful mana (energy). Their monthly U-Pick experience is such a gem for the community because people can come and harvest their own produce and contribute to the farm by donation. The views of the Wai'anae mountains are breathtaking.

Amazing place for kids to explore and learn about different plants and farm animals. The staff were wonderful! The kids got to plant seeds and make sugar cane juice.
