Launiupoko Beach Park is a peaceful, beautiful, and relaxing spot ideal for families and beginner surfers. The beach has clear, warm water with a shallow, protected kiddy section, making it great for kids. It is a really good beginner surf spot with good waves. The park offers lots of picnic tables, grills, and shade. However, the small parking lot can fill up quickly, so arriving early is recommended. The beach is a bit rocky, so water shoes are helpful. Visitors note that the bathrooms and showers can be closed, and the outhouses have been found to be disgusting, dirty, and filthy.
Fun beach for families. There is a man-made waiting pool, lots of shade, picnic areas and a beautiful Sandy Beach. Lots of opportunities to watch surfers.
