Every time I leave BBP, I walk away feeling empowered by the knowledge I gained, and more confident that my bike will keep rolling. The staff is incredible and they truly are building a community of friendly bike folks. I started from zero in the bike world, but attended their maintenance clinics and fem night. I’m amazed at how much I’ve learned about bikes! BBP/the shop/the staff/the idea warms my heart! Thanks for everything BBP!

Such a cool organization! I got two bikes for my kids. The people in there were so helpful and friendly! The sliding pay scale is heaven sent for those on a tight budget :)

I love BBP as a community resource but I'm always concerned with non-profits in general. I had always hoped that BBP was a beacon in this community, being an example of what operating a fair non-profit org looks like, and alas it's just the same as what I've come across before. Unfair wages for even just a few employees hinders their ability to show up as a sustainable community resource.I encourage BBP to put all of their employees on salary. Fundraising, grants, and community support should include fair wages for everyone who isn't explicitly volunteering their time.No one should be working within a non-profit and helping their community while still living in poverty.I want to see this community thrive, I want to see Boise thrive, but that cannot happen if projects like this can't sustain the most essential parts of their business, their employees.

In my experiences with BBP-they were always ready to help my clients. My clients often needed assistance with flat tire repair or a lubricated chain. BBP often waived any repair & equipment fees. I worked doing outreach for mental health support services as a certified peer specialist for a private agency. In my daily routine I was meeting people where they were-on the street, at Corpus Christie House, IFS or the Boise Rescue Mission. BBP staff always treated my clients with respect & dignity.

Hard to believe how long I've been coming to BBP and after all these years it's gotten even better. Last week I stopped in and picked up the sweetest mountain bike for my son. It was trail ready with purple pedals. We have used it twice already. It is an incredible bike and I just want to thank everyone for making BBP better than it was at the start.

My wife and I are on an extended road trip, cycling to explore each place we stop. My Shimano 11 speed shifter went south on me and none of the traditional bike shops we tried could help me, until one shop employee recommended we try Boise Bicycle Project. I am glad he did!Oh-Boy were we in for a treat! Not only did I find a great deal on good used parts I could repair my road bike with, but the staff are all friendly, and helpful. Each person we spoke with seemed to be as interested in bikes and cycling as we are.So not only did I get the parts I needed to resume enjoying our trip, but we got to meet some truly stellar people as well.Whether you need a bike, have a bike that you want to learn to fix, or just want to enjoy spending time with down to earth people who love bicycling we absolutely recommend dropping by Boise Bicycle Project!

Chris was amazing! He fixed my grandson’s bike for way less than any other shop. He showed him how to adjust brakes etc. It was an awesome experience. Thank you so much! Best bike place in town!

These guys are not what they say they are. I brought 7 bicycles to donate. They did not even look at them and rejected them. I called in advance to ensure they would accept them. What a waste of my time. If you have a bicycle donation don't waste your time with these people. They are only looking for designer bikes.

I have fallen in love with this place! I love the fact that you can donate hours and learn how to work on bikes in lieu of or trade for what you need on your own bike! Such a great service and project to have in the community! Thank you so much Boise bike project for being in existence and giving such a wonderful blessing to our community!
