“I booked at The Modern after seeing how close it was to an event I was attending in town for the night. The pictures and reviews had me sold, and getting to experience it first hand was even better than I imagined. The front desk and bar staff were so friendly, fun, and helpful. The room itself was so clean and comfortable. I can't wait to go to Boise and stay again for a longer visit!”

“Staying at Oxford suites was pleasant. We got a room with two queen beds. Everything was very clean including the bathroom, there were enough towels, the sheets and bed were soft with enough pillows, and all staff was friendly and efficient. The only thing that needs improvement was the pool area. The chlorine in both the hot tub and the pool was so high that both our kids complained of it hurting their skin. It was a nice temperature but too chlorinated.Otherwise it was great! They have a lovely breakfast with made to order eggs and omelets.Nearby activities: It is located near a busy eating and shopping area”

“Great food! The atmosphere has a chill vibe.. entertaining karaoke, chill with neighborhood friends or if you're lucky Ronnie will pull out his guitar and y'all can sing right along. Prime Rib Special, cutwater white Russian and Denis' homeaid cheesecake... Your taste buds will thankyou.”

“You can tell from the bathtubs in the bathrooms and the door locks that this is an older building, but that's about it, as it's clearly been remodeled. Everything else from beds, toilets, sinks, shower fixtures, furniture, look, smell, etc. feels much newer. The entertainment options haven't been upgraded and you still have the old school tv option with a slow, line-by-line channel guide and no streaming, but that's really nit-picking. The staff (front desk, food service and maid service -- I had good experiences with all of them) is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is the best "chain hotel" breakfast I've had. The place is clean and obviously well run/managed. Not sure you can beat this value in the Boise area for the price.Oh, side note - the pool is a little underwhelming. It's small and outdoors, although heated. No hot tub. So, if that's a must have for your visit, you might consider checking it out more closely before committing. It didn't matter to me and my family this visit.UPDATE - It appears there is an indoor hot tub. That wasn't explained when I checked in, but it's still a 5-star review from me and was still an excellent check in experience. Only makes it more likely I'll stay there again next time I'm passing through Boise.”

“So nice and peaceful. Close to the city but feels like it's secluded and away from everything. We stayed in Marjorie's Library with the private hot tub. Beautiful room, comfy bed. Netflix, Disney+, and HULU provided.”

Free wi-fi, using the refrigerator is free everything is free it's amazing I love this hotel and I would stay here again. The service is above and beyond!!!”

“The themed rooms are fun and warm. They honor military/ veterans with a discount. Because it is winter and a weekday our room rates were extremely reasonable. “We were in Boise for a quick overnight stay and thoroughly enjoyed our night at this property. Check in was fast and easy and Cydney was very helpful and able to accommodate our stay. The property is beautiful, clean and well maintained. The location is extremely convenient (walkable) to many restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. Room and beds were spacious, comfortable and well-appointed (sheets a bit thin for my preference). Only complaint with the room is the red indicator lights on the TV/phone are annoying for sleep so I just covered with a towel. The breakfast area was clean and has a great setup and the attendants were very helpful and gracious. The breakfast options were plentiful and made the stay very convenient. Parking in the attached garage was easy and put us within steps of our room. Overall great stay and we’ll definitely look forward to staying here again!”

“This location is fantastic. Check in was a breeze, professional service given and the rep worked to assist my request. Clean room. Air conditioner works great and the toilet works as it should, no issues. Beds and pillows still in good shape. Place is only about 5 yrs old. Pool and hot tub are clean and kept in great condition. Competitively priced and recommended.”

“My experience at the Grove Hotel was decent, but there were some downsides here. I was shocked that the rooms did not have a microwave. There was also very loud maintenance on one of the 3 elevators, which was very annoying and it prevented the elevators from working in a timely manner. The room next to mine was also cleaned very loudly around 9pm which I was surprised about. The room was clean though and the amenities such as the restaurant and bar were nice.”

“Really rude guy on audit tonight both the people were just talking mess about the job and how the boss wanted to add someone else it was just rude and not good to hear it. I stood there for 5 minutes before getting the help I needed plus with the extra attitude. Like if you don’t like working nights or talking to people find a different job. Lady that I saw at front desk with him was super sweet and kind. Thanks:)Rooms: Super nice and clean”

“Pleasantly surprised. Well maintained, clean hotel with large rooms. Everything looks brand new. I enjoyed spending time at the "Deck" on the 3rd floor, listening to live music, drinking a Deschutes Black Butte Porter, munching on a "Cocky Balboa" chicken sandwich and taking in the views of downtown Boise, with views of the Capitol from the Deck. Kids enjoyed the pool and had it to ourselves. Breakfast is average, but I really enjoyed the coffee. Parking garage is on the small size but we didn't have any problems finding a spot. It was not a BSU football game weekend, which probably is why it wasn't too crowded. Convenient to lots of restaurants, bars and shopping, parks, etc.”

“I am a water purist. This is the best water that I have found that can be sourced and delivered in the Treasure Valley area. The owners are very customer-service oriented and work hard to satisfy requests with a smile and pleasant word. They handle their operations with conscious care and transparency and are committed to bringing pure water to as many people as possible. I highly recommend Rocks Water.”

“We really loved our stay at this new hotel. The room and property were very clean and felt new and modern. All the staff were polite and helpful. The pool was a little small but we loved the hot jacuzzi! And the gym space was nice too. We booked a “pet friendly” hotel thru priceline so there was confusion after I called and the front desk said “no cats”. We had to call priceline to speak to the hotel to allow our cat which was initially frustrating and then the manager said we had to keep the cat in the carrier at all times? That is not do-able so we felt like we might get kicked out if housekeeping found our free roaming cat in our room. Not fun. Also for their pet relief space: there was an area in the parking lot with a poo bag dispenser that seemed like they intended it to be a dog relief area but it was all landscaping rocks (the very sharp kind) which I imagine is super hard for dogs to walk on. There were no grassy or even dirt areas nearby the hotel so we had to walk our dog blocks away to find a dirt patch because she wouldn’t go on the parking lot pavement or landscaping rocks. This property could definitely work on their “pet friendly” stuff but we loved everything else about this property including the free breakfast buffet that included lots of options from a cereal bar to scrambled eggs bacon toast oatmeal and even gluten free muffins.”

“We (my husband, me and our 2 kids) stayed here on Nov. 17th for 1 night and I am so glad we chose this inn! Clean, spelled good.... That might be a weird thing to say but I truly remember thinking oh this smells good when we walked in the front and when we walked into the room. Our room was very clean, we did book the 2 beds because it was cheaper but they gave us a room with 3 beds. We were not mad lol we used all three! We could hear the people above us a little bit but not enough to be irritating. The "mini" fridge was huge!! We did stay for breakfast and the variety was awesome. They had a waffle station, yogurt, breakfast sandwiches, fruit, 4-5 different cereal choices, juice, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal and bagels. Overall this was an amazing experience and we will definitely be choosing this place when we come through again.”

“Traveled all from Portland, Oregon, for my husband's Rugby game, and we decided to stay here. We loved the pool, jacuzzi, rooms, and complimentary breakfast. The front desk was very helpful with any problems or modifications that I needed.”

“I did exceed my expectations. The rooms and everything is no stranger to me since I stayed in many best Westerns. Just only thing that surprised me was no microwave in the room. But it's no big deal. Location is good just right by the Airport and it's only a couple of miles away from Downtown Bosie. What I did love about this Hotel in the wonderful front desk staff. They are were so kind, warm and friendly. Especially Jenna and Ashley they were both so warm with smiles the whole time on their faces. They really made my hotel experience so wonderful. That's the best guest service every I received. For my first visit to Boise this means a lot to me. Definitely recommend this Hotel.”

“Booked this place online. The hotels in Boise are expensive. The reason I picked this one is you can check in 24/7 and our flight got in late. The checking in process was fast. The room was okay. It had a large bed a sitting couch a desk. I liked that it had a microwave and refrigerator. They gave a very small shampoo and conditioner. We stayed several days and they did not come and clean the room. I guess it's not a bad thing since you don't have people looking at your stuff. The breakfast was pretty decent. They also had an indoor pool with a spa. The pool as the highlight of this hotel. They also sold food if you're hungry. The good thing is that it's located in a really great area lots of restaurants and shopping. It's close to downtown.”

“Large rooms, sofa can be turned into a bed as well. Smaller bathroom, with the sink being in the bedroom area. I did book a king room, but they didn’t have any available for some reason. I was given two full size beds instead. I had some trouble figuring out the climate control in the room. The thermostat would not go below 68 no matter what I did. Room was not a comfortable temperature the time I was there. I believe the unit in the room was broken.”
