Charged $10/day for parking when they could just build that into the price and give guests cards for their cars.Housekeeping was awful...only cleaned the room once during a 3-night stay. Found stains on a mattress pad and throw pillow. And they started vacuuming outside our room at 7 am.Microwaves in the rooms would be a nice thing to add.It just wasn't as nice as their website describes. Very disappointed and won't stay there again.

Not a huge fan of paying $10/night to park at a hotel that I'm paying for a room to stay at. Had several issues with the broken toilet, no shampoo in the dispenser, pillows flat like pancakes. The hideaway couch bed was like sleeping on a bunch of river rocks of various sizes.I did bring up issues with the staff, to which they did get certain things taken care of.The location is great, close to a ton of places for shopping and restaurants. The breakfast selection was the best part. Waffles, cold cereals, fruits, yogurts, and a variety of hot breakfasts.Nearby activities: ShoppingFood & drinks: Restaurants all over the area

Poor hotel. Can't even contact reception from my room or from calling online number. Feels like you're in the 70s when you step into the room. So many other hotels in the area that are head and shoulders above this one.

Overall a nice hotel and clean. Room was well appointed and spacious. Staff were excellent.Only two issues I encountered:1) Hallways are DARK, especially around elevators where they skipped fixtures. Definitely not a welcome vibe.2) Breakfast was absolutely atrocious and inedible. Powdery eggs that were still somehow over cooked, and potatoes that tasted like cardboard and had a similar texture. The latter was a true shame for a state who has “famous potatoes” on their license plates.

Staff was unwilling to change my room or provide a microwave for my room. The bathroom was dirty with hard water stains on the shower doors. Black marks on the floor. The desk I had to work at was so wobbly that I thought it would fall apart.Rooms: No microwave in my room. Having to be in training during the day and school in the evening, I needed a microwave.

Hands down one of the best mid priced hotels we have been at! Beds were clean, amenities thought of thoroughly and the breakfast was excellent! You won't regret staying here. (And I am picky!)

My husband's uncle was visiting us from Veracruz Mexico and stayed in the hotel on June 15- June 18 .The first night he was having issues his the AC.He was sick and couldn't turn it off ..He went downstairs to talk to the lady from the front desk. This lady was completely rude with him and couldn't help him.She also said this is the way he got the room and to deal with it. He felt horrible because every time he would ask for something she was rude ..I understand his English isn't great but no reason to be rude not help him and laugh when he's walking away..I really hope you guys do better.

Interesting property... we checked in late, probably around 10 pm on a Friday night. Wasn't sure if we were at a hotel or a bar.As soon as you walk in, you're at the front desk. There is a sitting area cramed right in front, so it makes egress tough if if you have a lot of luggage. They could likely go away with it and still be fine. This seemed to be a common theme throughout as everywhere seemed a bit tight. The sitting area described must have just had a group leave, as cases of beer were left behind as well as the remnants of maybe their dinner. For 10pm, it seemed quite chaotic as people were heading to and leaving the pool area and quite a bit of people just hanging out down in the lobby. It's definitely an interesting vibe, not bad or anything, just different and lively. We had two rooms for 3 nights and were hoping to have adjoining rooms but no such luck. One of the rooms was very stale and had an old cigarette smell. The fold out couch had some surprise "yuck" left behind that housekeeping must have missed. The carpets looked a bit rough, but for a last-minute trip, the rooms were just fine. The 2 queen option had significantly more room than the single king option for those having a hard time deciding.I forgot my toiletries, so I went down to the front desk at 0630 to see if maybe they had a toothbrush and was greeted with a sign saying that they stepped away and to call the listed number. I decided to wait a few minutes before calling and grabbed some complimentary coffee they had out. It was clearly from last night as it was fairly cold. After about 10 minutes, I called the number and got sent to voice-mail. Within a few minutes, the receptionist arrived, having clearly just woken up from what appeared to be a wonderful nap. I asked for a toothbrush, and unfortunately, they did not have any available. The doors to the rooms are so thin. As you walk down the hall, you can quite clearly hear everyone's discussions as you pass their room. As I left the elevator, I could hear my 3yo throwing a tantrum from down the hall. Mind you, he was in the room with the door closed, and I was a good 30 meters down the hall. The weird part is I never heard any noise through the walls only from the room doors. The housekeeping lacked overall. The bed was made and towels were changed daily but that's about the extent of the cleaning which seemed a bit concerning. The cups we left with some coffee we routinely came back to them still in the same place and dirty. I can't say I've ever experienced that at a hotel before.

I’m going to post the email I sent to the manager, to which I did not receive a response.Hi Michael,We stayed at the Hyatt Boise Towne Square 5/19-5/21 room 226. The floor of our room was disgusting; there was black dog hair all over. We requested a vacuum to clean it ourselves and when someone brought the vacuum to our room she mentioned getting us a discounted rate for our inconvenience. In addition to the black dog hair there were stains on the couch bed sheets. (I wish I would’ve taken a picture but didn’t think of it in that moment). There were clumps of black hair floating in the pool. When we checked out and I asked about a discounted rate as mentioned by your staff member, we were told to reach out to you as they were unable to adjust the rate.Last year we stayed with you guys and were given an ADA room when we paid for 2 doubles. We have a family of 5 and the ADA room had 1 bed. When we went to the front desk to report this, we were told the hotel was completely full and there were no rooms available to switch to. We were told a manager would reach out to us to get us a discounted rate, but we didn’t hear a word from anyone. We decided to give your hotel one more chance this year, and it completely failed us.—I want to add, we used to love this hotel. It has completely gone down hill in the last couple of years. Will never stay at a Hyatt again.

In town for business. Rm 331 had a several issues. I couldn't figure out the bad smell when I walked in. It seemed like it was the pillows so I asked to change them. Later that night I pulled off the sheets and realized the bad smell (urine) was the mattress and someone clearly had an accident. I ended sleeping on the steel spring pullout sofa bed. The toilet ran periodically through the night. Black out curtain was broken. Desk chair was broken. Shower door handle was almost detached. What made matters worse is that the AC wouldn't allow a setpoint above 72 degrees and there was no heat in the room. Gym is set to 'meatlocker' cold. Wifi is an unsecure open network. Hotel photos are very misleading. Won't be staying here again despite it's convenient location.

Dirty sheets- bed bugs, hair, and dried skin or leftover food in both twin beds; service was lacking- not friendly, not welcoming, no apology for the first room with dirty sheetsThe room overall is nice, but I need to have clean sheets.

Hotel staff is friendly for the most part. The hotel could be a nice hotel but my room smelt like cigarettes. I was originally told that i had to stay there and they would "fix it." How do you fix the horrible smell??? They put so much air freshner i couldn't even breathe. When I was moved, it took almost an hour to move into another room that had an even more horrible smell. But i was over it. I was hoping to move on. I woke up the next morning to shower, and when I got out, I realized there was a DIRTY TOWEL HANGING ON THE BACK OF THE BATHROOM DOOR! How gross is that! I'm sure people make mistakes and it was obviously missed. The hotel also allows pets. Which are fine when the owners are responsible. However, the very first day, there was urine in the elevator. The breakfast was okay. The employees were definitely friendly. My third night there, a smoke alarm, woke me up at 1130 pm. Everyone eventually found their way out of the room. Until 1am. I was told the next morning that the alarm was set off by a "hot spot." Firefighters really didn't know what triggered it. I was also told the alarm was broken and ended up being shut off manually until they could figure out how to fix it. That's a little scary. I travel every weekend and by far the most horrible luck at this hotel. I also am waiting for the charge of a room upgrade to be removed , but the manager hasnt removed it. I hate to leave negative feedback, but this was a case where I felt it was necessary. I LOVE HIATT and usually have great experiences.
