I was hoping REI would allow my Labrador inside, as long as she was leashed and well behaved. They immediately told me I wasn't allowed in with her. I'm sure the store may be great but I will be taking my outdoor needs shopping to other stores such as Scheels, Sportsmans Warehouse, and Sierra Trading Post as they allow pups inside. I understand they have to follow their policy, but hoping that policy will change one day. Until then I'll take my buisness elsewhere.

Just left the REI store. What a joke Selection is nonexistent unless you wanna apply for Patagonia or North base. The sales staff doesn’t know anything about anything The three items we found on the sale rack we’re not on sale

Went in for a simple tire repair and had an amazing experience. The guys at the bike store got my kid’s bike repaired, same day. Their levity and helpfulness was great.
While I waited, I browsed the camping gear and the gentleman that helped me was very patient, knowledgeable, and able to point me in the right direction to get the best gear for my needs.
I would happily spend a million dollars there if I could. They have so many nice items that make the outdoor experience better.
Overall amazing experience!

Great store for outdoor living. Friendly, helpful staff. Good selection of active wear, camping gear, and mountaineering equipment. Great brands but definitely spendy.

I walked into REI expecting to shop, not to be lectured. The first thing I saw was a large sign trying to dictate values and push an agenda. Whether someone agrees or disagrees with the message, it’s not REI’s job to tell customers how they should think or act. I came here for outdoor gear, not political messaging.
Companies should focus on their strengths—serving customers and selling quality products—instead of jumping into virtue signaling and social posturing. This kind of messaging feels more alienating than inclusive, and it made me decide this will be my last visit. Sell gear, not ideology.

They have lots of choices, all at a fair price and their back packing gear will last you many hard miles before needing replaced.

Absolute grail experience every time. Always my go to store for outdoor gear, great selection of shoes, clothing, and other backpacking/camping essentials! Sometimes a bit pricey, but there are always hidden gems in the returns section and occasionally decent sales
