First off, I have been a customer at Cool Nails for years. Sometimes it's great, and sometimes it's OK. I was in on Friday for a pedicure. The gentleman who had my chair did a mediocre job on the pedicure but, when it came to the polish, he did a horrible job. Uneven color, all over my toes but also missing parts of the nail, and then kept asking if it was OK. He clearly knew it wasn't. Trying to be polite, I said it was fine. Well, when I got home and actually looked at the polish I realized how horrible it was. I could have done a much better job myself. I tried to live with the poor quality, but I went back on Tuesday to have a color change...no pedicure. I had just paid $60 for that 3 days earlier. I assumed I'd be treated with respect, maybe a polite apology (anyone could see how bad it was), and then I'd pay my money and leave happy. This was not the case. The gal at my chair tried to convince me that I needed a full pedicure again "for the cuticles and calluses." Remember, I just had all of that done. I was then told the color change would be $30. I said no thanks and gathered my things to leave. Then she said $15. I sat back down and began looking at the sparkly colors similar to what I had previously chosen on Friday. At that point I was rudely told that those were only available in gel. Strange...it was available 3 days earlier. Needless to say, I left with the same terrible polish job that I walked in with. Being a long standing customer with a legitimate complaint, I was shocked by how badly I was treated. Please don't placate me with your usual response to low reviews. I came in to try to make it right and was treated rudely. I will try the new nail place across the street next time.

First of all, I am a frequent customer, and usually have positive experiences here. Hannah and Bill are both great at what they do, and I’m always happy with the services that I get here. Hannah did a beautiful pedicure on me today. She always pays attention to details and is very kind.However, today, I witnessed one of the younger women really treating a customer quite poorly. First of all, I didn’t know this, but they charge $5 extra to remove your old gel polish. The lady next to me arrived a couple minutes after I did. I finished my pedicure at the same time that she was just getting started. They told her about the $5 gel removal. She was surprised by it, but agreed. The woman started removing her polish. The customer realized after one foot of gel was removed what time it was and that she needed to go and didn’t have time for her pedicure after all because she needed to be somewhere. Her short window had passed of free time with all the waiting she had already done. They then told her, in a very unfriendly way that they would charge her $10 for her gel removal since she was leaving. And this is after she’d been sitting there for 45 minutes with no service whatsoever. The customer wasn’t rude at all to them, but this woman worker was quite unprofessional and rude to her. The customer kindly apologized to her that she needed to leave and instead of apologizing back to her for the long wait, all she did was tell her they were going to double her price for the gel removal and treated her poorly. This poor woman just wanted a pedicure for her Sunday event she was going to! I really felt bad for the lady and even chimed in myself of her long wait time, and the worker started getting snippy with me as well. She really shouldn’t have been charged anything.The poor customer turned to me and said, “I’ve never been scared to get a pedicure before….” We joked about how this was supposed to be a relaxing time of the day to de-stress, and in fact, it was quite the opposite. She was a local and a frequent customer, which makes it even more surprising.Anyway, I was so appalled by it that I decided to write a negative review, which is rare for me. Hopefully they can be a little more professional to their long-time frequent customers because it was quite embarrassing for them!

I went to get a fill today, and the young man pressured me into getting a brand new full set. While he was doing my nails there was one nail he placed on crooked. I simply asked him to the fix it since I would be wearing and paying for these nails and he argued with me for about 15 minutes trying to convince me that the nail was not crooked. He even went as far as pulling another staff member over to verify that the nail was not crooked which in fact the staff member agreed it was. Finally, he fixed it and had a terrible attitude afterwords. To make the matters even worse, I go to pay and he tells me my total is $77. He runs my card and I instantly get an alert that he charged me $92 instead, clearly adding his own tip. I confronted him right then and there and he denied over charging me dispite the amount showing up on card. This man had terrible customer service, and the company has misleading pricing, and is conducting fraudulent business by overcharging customers without their consent. I hope they are ready to hear from the Better Business Bureau, and my Bank.

Went today with my mom and sisters for a relaxing self care day. There was nothing relaxing about our experience. As others have mentioned, the upsale was ridiculous and my sister's nail tech was literally yelling at her as to why she didn't want the higher end gel polish pedi. I overheard this same thing with a lady sitting next to me and as the customer politely declined multiple times, her nail tech shook her head "no" at her. We basically felt punished by choosing a less expensive package by not even receiving the services included in our package. No massage, no callous buffing and my sister's nail tech left smeared polish on her toes which I asked them to clean up. Don't bother with your generic response "Cool Nails" we will not be returning. Your salon is great but please apply mask to feet also not just calves. Most of us have dry feet. And hydrate feet with lotion or oil. That would help us enjoy the salon more.

I had such a terrible experience at this salon today that I want to warn others from spending their TIME and money at this salon. The tech rushed through my pedicure with no attention to detail and my manicure was even worse. When I asked the tech to file my nails she did ONE nail and I asked her about filing the other NINE she did a couple more fingers and then offered a nail file to take home with me. In what universe does this happen? I can't even believe I paid, I just wanted out of there. Very disappointing.

My wife and I stopped in for pedicures and I had a good experience. The guy who was doing her pedicure was very pushy on the upsell and would not take no for an answer. The pedicure was pretty good, but once we've been asked about a service and declined, that should be the end of the upsell. The guy must have tried about 7 or 8 times to get my wife to get a manicure as well. Not too cool.

Went there for the first time to get mani & pedi for my wedding. The workers who waited on me were extremely rude & pushy. I paid $123 altogether & neither the mani nor the pedi lasted more than a few days! Will never go back to that place! Terrible service & not worth the price for a mani & pedi that started to come off after only a few days. If I could give zero stars I would! Photo is of day 3 after going. Plus when the lady showed me her pricing paper the mani showed $65, then she charged me $70 for it & I didn’t realize til after I’d left.

The first time I went here I was charged a totally different amount that was on the wall price chart. When I asked she said they hadn’t updated their prices on the wall yet. I recently went back for a fill and the same thing happened she said it was 40 not 30 and then asked how much for a a tip I told her 5$ and when she handed me back my card receipt she charged me 42$ plus 8$ for tip. Which is not the amount I said for a tip plus 2$ more than already being over charged. Not only do they over charge you but they change the tip amounts I’m currently trying to dispute this with my bank do not go here

I am very happy with the service I received. I went in for a fill. The young man that did my nails was so very sweet and did an excellent job. However, when I went to pay, shockingly it was $72! For a fill! I love my nails, but I can't afford to be paying nearly $100 (after tip) for a fill, no way. He did put collagen gloves on my hands and lotion on my arms, I suppose this is what cost more but he didn't ask me, he just did it. Just need to be specific with them what you want, without the add ons. Might be wise to get a price beforehand, since the prices on the board don't seem to be accurate.

Went to get pedicures with my mother in law and daughter. It is my daughters 1st time. She is 2.5yrs old and did amazing. I asked for regular polish and she argued that I should get gel. I said I wanted regular, again she said gel. So I said fine. She soaked her feet in warm water, polished them and put a little lotion on her legs. All in all, maybe 15 mins at the most. Mine took longer. The prices they have advertised when you walk in are not the prices they say. It cost me 110 dollars for mine and my daughters pedis. They charged me 35 dollars for her because of gel polish I didn’t even want for her. They try to take advantage of people thinking they’re made of money. I am so angry. I have been coming to this nail salon for 8 years and not always happy the past few years. They leave the cuticle covered and grows out uneven. Also when I ask to put a dap of acrylic to the side of 1 nail they say no or ignore me. The next day it starts chipping. Not going back EVER. Also very rude

Had an appointment Monday @4:15 set up for a full set. The lady I got I don’t remember her name but she was very rude and was so focused on what everyone else was doing and rushing on my nails. Typically the service I’m usually there for an hour to an hour and a half. I asked for acrylic and got gel. Also she forgot to put clear coat on my thumb nail. I asked for coffin and I got square. Clearly the lady wasn’t listening to me. Today Thursday I called the bussiness asking to speak to a manager cause a nail had broke and I needed to get it fixed the lady told me to come in and they would fix it. I showed up after work at 4:15 and a gentlemen asked how he could help and I said I needed a nail fixed and that I had called earlier. He sat me down and said company policy $5 fix. I told him there was no way I was paying that cause I had just spent so much money on a full set. He told me I could go over to the girl and tell her that I broke nail and needed to get it fixed. Um why is that my job? So she saw that I was there and told me to sit at her station. I sat there for 30 min waiting for her to fix one nail. Have been going there for a while and will not return to this business!Service: Manicure

So disappointed with my latest experience here. I just wanted a gel manicure. The lady tried pressuring me to get a set of nails and I said no, I'm trying to make my natural nails healthy. She seemed upset at this and kept saying that my nails were too short. She finally did them. She was rushed and acted like I was wasting her time. $50 later and they're awful. I should have looked more at the reviews as Shelly had a very similar experience as myself. At almost 100 dollars for the manicure and pedicure with gel polish there should have been a better result. Lumpy fingernails not an even coat. If i had the time to get them redone I would have come back in the shop. Came here from a recommendation but personally do not recommend at all. The other two ladies I went with had a much better outcome. Didn't get the ladies name who did mine but she should not be doing nails. My toes are very opaque and she barely put any polish on the left pinkie toe and it's on the skin. The foot filing was lack luster. Way over priced for the service recieceved.Services: Manicure
