Downtown Coeur d'Alene, founded in 1888, is an entertainment and shopping destination with more than 125 retail stores, restaurants, and professional businesses. The Downtown Association hosts many events throughout the year. Visitors can find a quaint town with a nice variety of gift stores, restaurants, and art galleries. The town also offers beautiful hiking trails with fantastic views of the lake, as well as a large, pleasant, and well-maintained park with a cool boardwalk to explore the lake. Downtown Coeur d'Alene is known for its lively atmosphere, with an active Art Walk event on the second Friday of each month from April to December.

    One of the nicest town to visit and exceptional clean cities I have ever seen.

    Coeur D'Alene is a place worth exploring. The history and geography are unique way points to pause on a busy trip. The people are pleasant and were helpful to find what we were looking for, even if they didn't carry the product.

    To much construction. Didn't get to shop. Couldn't find parking.
