If I could give absolutely no stars, I would. I am having to get a rental car and this is the place my insurance had set me up with. I had scheduled a time to be picked up from the car shop, with the man prior to me getting there. When he called went over all the documents I had in order to get a car. He said all was clear. I get to the car shop, nobody was there to pick me up to take me to their location… so the shop had to then call their office and let them know I had already been there waiting. Upon waiting 25 minutes in the shop he arrived and gave me a ride to their location. I then speak to the man at the counter about confirming the insurance confirmation number for the rental. He says he can’t take my identification card and I show him my other drivers license. Still says rudely he can’t take it. I ask him what he wants to do to move further and basically had no other option to help me. The lady who I am learning is the manager is next to him and rudely says their drivers license policy and is short, I am telling her what do I do since my home is 35 miles away and I just dropped my car off at the shop to get fixed. She has no options on how to fix me other then to take me back to the shop. So I sit there trying to figure out what to do and I said ok I will take a ride back to the shop so I can get you the id card you want. He gives me a ride and continues to tell me how the man on the phone isn’t providing people with the right information and that many people called upset this morning due to lack of information. I am at the dmv getting the info they wanted and she calls me and says she isn’t going to rent to me because I was DISRESPECTFUL!!!! ??? save your time and DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE A NIGHTMARE AND WILL GIVE YOU THE RUN AROUND. will be getting forwarded to higher up managers to make sure this lady does not get to treat anyone else like this again!!!!

I picked up a rental here because my car was in the shop. My car repairs and rental were to be covered by another driver’s insurance. Enterprise had not received the insurance info yet so I gave them my info and credit card knowing that the insurance would cover it at some point. Instead of taking care of everything inside the store, they send me out with an employee (lower on the pay scale,I imagine) to look over the rental and to try to sell me insurance and other things I don’t need. I asked the employee if I needed the damage insurance and if damage would be covered by my insurance or the other driver and she said she didn’t know. I mistakenly accepted the insurance.When I went to return the car, an employee, I assume higher up on the pay scale that doesn’t try to swindle customers into purchasing useless things, told me that I would most likely have to pay for the damage insurance and the at fault driver’s insurance would most likely not cover this. He was right. I had to pay for insurance I didn’t need.I think I understand why they send other employees out to check the car and try to sell you things you don’t need—because it’s a shady practice.

If I could give a zero star I would. Two locations horrible service and still didn’t get a rental I had reserved. Totally put a traveling youth wrestling team in a major bind I don’t recommend coeurdalene locations for this business. Very rude people

The people there were super nice and super helpful. Three stars is an enterprise policy problem. I have always elected to take and return the car full of gas, which means you receive it full. They did not fill the car up, but told us it had 17.3 gallons, and to just bring it back with that same amount. There is no way to know when it has exactly 17.3 gallons, but if we brought it back with less we would be charged an inflated price for the difference. If we brought it back with more, we would receive no credit. NOT a fair contract!

I went in today to get my rental car established and not in the best of moods given Safeco is horrible to deal with and I must say, the guys at the CDA location are incredible humans. So helpful, patient, and understanding. We even had a laugh or two. I will rent from these guys always in the future as the team is so amazing to deal with! Thanks so much for a wonderful experience!

Not wanting to inconvenience my friends, who had to work, I decided to rent the cheapest car available to get to the Spokane airport. Pick-up time was 3 p.m. My friend got delayed, so we arrived around 3:45.The car wasn't ready; they said they were having a windshield wiper installed. In the meantime, they took me out to look at two other cars that were ready to go, and would be only slightly more expensive. I declined, since wipers take just a few minutes to install... right?It was 40 minutes before the car arrived, all dirty (it looked like it had been driven in mud, then hosed down, but it still had mud streaks and the mirrors were filthy; you could see where someone had rubbed a few inches with their fingers to be able to see). The interior was also not the cleanest; 10 minutes with a vacuum would take care of most of it.I've rented from at least eight car rental companies around the world, and have never had to wait 45 minutes, been asked to rent a more expensive vehicle, or gotten a car in poor condition. If anything, if the company didn't have an economy vehicle available, I was given an upgrade at no extra cost.It might be an exception, given the hundreds of decent reviews, but it was not my experience. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because the return process was as expected: quick, painless, and friendly, and I was charged exactly what was agreed.

I needed to change my location drop off and so after doing that I got the chance to meet some great understanding employees at the government way and appleway enterprise! Thank you so much Nathan and Cy! Great work ! Thank you for being so helpful and understanding and making that drop off process go so quickly and smoothly!

This place is the worst. I went through them in 2019 when my engine blew. It was covered by my extended warranty so when I went back today they tell me that I have an outstanding balance in the amount of 350.00 and they tried to call me. I never received any phone calls from them nor did I receive a bill, regardless I was going to pay it right then and there, and then they wouldn't take my payment.

Nathan and Steven were the most helpful and kind employees I've encountered in the longest time. They were both doing the job of two people, but were thorough, patient and professional. Great expereince all around!

I would give more stars if I could. We had taken a road trip to ride the Route of the Hiawatha and the first day we were there our truck died. Well needless to say that put a bit of wrench in our vacation.We got a ride to the Enterprise in Coeur d'Alene were we rented a car. We were not sure how we would fit all of our camping gear in it but we would work it out. After spending the day exploring Coeur D'Alene we started heading back to were we were camped, when a light popped up on the dash for something. We turned around and went back to the Enterprise to have it looked at.Since they did not have a mechanic on site they offered a different car. We notice that there was a Jeep there and inquired about the cost of that. We spoke with Nathan Brockway and he was so wonderful and kind helping us. Although the Jeep did cost more to rent he gave us a great deal on it and it was much easier to fit camping gear in to get us the 900+ miles to home.Can't thank Nathan and his staff enough for all their help. Had a reserved vehicle to pick up around opening time. Appeared that there were 2 people working on a week day morning. There were a few other customers picking up and returning vehicles as well. Only waited a few minutes. Both the desk employee and the gentleman who took us out to get the vehicle were very friendly and personable. They both worked well with the busy environment and had a great system of working together to speed up the process. We had a choice between two different vehicles in the class we reserved. Took the Jeep Cherokee. Vehicle was in great condition and ran well for our trip to Montana. Returning the vehicle was a breeze. Very nice young lady processed our return and we were on our way. Would definitely recommend renting from the CDA location on Government Way. Thank you to all of the staff for making the entire process so easy and enjoyable! You guys rock!

Super friendly, upbeat, and efficient reps at Enterprise Coeur d'Alene. Cooperative and punctual to pick me up at our RV resort, and taxi me back at the end of the rental. Laid out all details of the rental well, and all expectations were met. Also appreciate their flexibility with late changes in the rental schedule. Highly recommend!

The first vehicle that I received smelt like smoke. When I arrived at my destination city, the manager at the location I rented originally and the manager at the two branches (airport and off site location) worked together to find a vehicle that would work to get me into for the week. They were quick and very friendly trying to help.

Probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced while dealing with Anthony. He was unable to find paper work he should have had from insurance. Told me that they would be unable to get me into a vehicle unless I personally paid out of pocket for it. When everything was taken care of in advance. I don’t know what kind of circus they’re running but don’t buy the peanuts.
