Mickey is awesome. He has helped us personally as well as with our 2 businesses. He has amended a past return and caught a HUGE mistake another CPA made which got us a giant refund! Super thankful for his help with that. Very knowledgeable and kind, checks in on us, quick to get back to us, answers all our (many) questions and he is thorough. It's been great having him !

I used to be impressed with this business but no longer am, which is sad because we’ve been using them for years. I think they are taking on far too much of a workload, but that is no excuse to be dishing out such attitude.
We weren’t very happy with the new person assigned to us this year, but the final nail in the coffin is the phone call I received today from the front desk woman where she treated me like an idiot over an extension they filed that I didn’t know about (which didn’t actually matter because our taxes had been filed and the return received - which did not stop her from asking if I wanted my [already filed] taxes filed…hence the confusion).
It’s been nothing but attitude and delays this time around. No thank you.

I have a complicated life living in two states managing multiple business operations in each state. That also means that I use three different CPA firms to manage the tax burden. What sets this organization apart is the dedication of the staff starting at the top. They have an old school family type vibe to their team, they all burn the 'midnight oil' during tax time trying to juggle everyones needs and requests. Their tax advice has helped out my situation a great deal, and their end product is professional and timely. Comparing this firm to the others that I use allows me to say that ALL quality firms are busy especially during tax season. If you expect to get an immediate response or a same day appointment during tax season, it's likely not going to happen, but that's true of all high quality organizations.

Did not use Mr. Clovis directly. Firm Took 7 months to prepare our taxes. Since then the federal government has refunded us nearly 50% of what we were told we owed. Sorry- but will not return.

Similar to other reviewers we had a highly disappointing experience with Webb, Clovis and Associates. We delivered our tax paperwork to them as soon as we had everything, by the beginning of April. We were told they were extremely busy and would file an extension for us. They DID NOT tell us to make any payment to the IRS or the Idaho Tax Commission at any time, nor did they mention penalties and interest would be charged if we didn't pay by April 18th. On 2 subsequent calls to the office I was assured that an extension was filed and they were working on our taxes. Finally, when I called a 3rd time in August, that is when Aaron finally worked on and completed our taxes. We met September 1st and mailed our tax payments that day. In the following weeks we were notified that we were late in paying our taxes and therefore owed the IRS and ID nearly $1000. We met with Jessi Webb and Aaron Bivens. They did not assume accountability for their failure to provide the services for which we paid and instead stated that they were not 100% at fault. They did not make it right by covering the penalties and interest or refunding the $400 we paid them for their expertise and services. Instead they told us that they did us a huge favor and saved us alot of money the previous year. Apparently they felt that they did their job one year so they were not responsible for doing it again the next. Rather than get nothing out of this experience we accepted a check to cover the $200 in interest that we owe. We understand that businesses are dealing with employee shortages and sympathize (we work hard for our money too). Yet, we still expect people to do what they are paid to do and to be accountable for their mistakes.

Absolutely horrible service! I went to then to handle my business taxes in April of last year. The only thing they successfully did for me was send out a w9. I contacted them twice as the tax deadline seemed to come closer and each time it was like they had no idea which business I was talking about. I was then reassured I would receive a tax packet to fill out then have an appointment (which never happened ) When the tax deadline was two weeks away Al told me he would be filing for an extension (which fines you) and would get ahold of me within the next two weeks again never happened. Having an accountant is supposed to take this stress so a person can focus on running their business all they did was cost me money. Save your money and find somewhere that will value your business!
