These guys are slime balls that continue to sucker customers into buying garbage for top dollar. The only reason this place still exists is because of a misplaced desire by people to buy local. Do yourself a favor and go ahead and get your fridge or dishwasher from the big box store right up the street. Please protect yourself and those you care about from descending into this cess pool where the sales team is sure to rip you off on damaged and incomplete appliances.

We are two appointments and 90 days without our Bluestar oven because Freds ordered the incorrect parts. Today I call for an update. Parts are in, but they cant install until March.120 days….. service is lacking.

Well. My love affair with Fred’s Appliance is over. I’m a diehard believer in buying local and Fred’s has been our go-to for appliances. One of our latest purchases was a LQ washer/dryer combo, the one that holds detergent and softener so you don’t have to measure and pour each time you throw in a load. Heaven. Until it stopped dispensing softener shortly after receiving it. Called Fred’s for service confident they’d fix her for me. Two months later a technician came out and immediately knew what the problem was. He assured me he would get the part ordered. After waiting for literally months a repair technician came out and replaced the laundry detergent side. Yeah…?♀️ Another appointment was made for Fred’s to come out to replace the correct part. We are now at 8+months, 3 service calls (3 days taken off of work so WE can be available for the repairman to NOT repair our washer) wrong parts ordered, no repairs have been made.Calling service has been an absolute joke. You literally cannot get a straight answer from that department. We are now waiting for service to call us to schedule a 4th appointment for us to take off work so they can maybe fix our washer. 4th time is a charm, right? So here we are…just waiting…because service can’t give us any information as to when/what parts is/are being ordered, how long it will take to receive the parts, when they’ll be able to come back out (more months?) and if they can actually fix our washer. The lack of customer care Fred’s gives their customers is appalling to someone who has worked in customer service their entire working life.

My microwave quit working in early August.I placed a service call and was told that the earliest I could get a tech was Aug 30. Upon arrival, the tech said he would order parts, he did not have any because there were too many types to carry around.Since then, I have had more service calls to install the ordered parts, and then order more.It is now Dec 4, 2023 and the microwave is still not working.I do not get any calls from Fred's Appliance repair until they are ready to give me a notice that they will be here in a few days.I have asked the repair tech and the dispatcher when they will replace the microwave and they said it is not their call.My question for Fred is what are you going to do about this service?

Freds sucks Spent 5 grand on a new stove and double oven . When we went to use it it smoked up the house and set off smoke and CO monitors. We cleaned it thoroughly although the same thing happened again. Called the store they said they would call back that day, never did. Now they say it will be 3 weeks until someone could come out. Co will kill you, Fred's don't care. Stick with small business

Bought an 11k Jen air refrigerator in early Junefrom Fred’s. . Control panel was busted and Fred’s ordered a replacement. After 2 months and no word we called and asked (every 2 weeks). “Nothing” they said. Part is not in. We finally called Jen air directly after more than 4 months. It turns out Fred’s never did a nationwide search. Jen air got in to them in 4 days. They also called us with a tracking number and receipt. Called Fred’s to get it installed. Their useless customer service claimed they never received the part despite evidence to the contrary. Called jen air again and begged them to convince Fred’s they had the part. That took them 2 hours. With that settled I asked for an install. They said that would take 6 weeks. Considering this is an 11k refrig that at this point had been out of commission for 5 months I told them “not acceptable “. After much going around they found a spot in 5 days. When it was time for them to come out they called and cancelled because they lost another part that had been set to them for the install. Said they did not know when it would be in. We asked if we could pick up the remaining parts and keep them safe considering. They refused. They scheduled the install another 6 weeks out because the lost part would take time to get they said. We called Jen air and had the part sent to us. It took 3 days. Called Fred’s back to reschedule the install. They refused. It has now been 6 months and still no service. Throughout this my wife and I have been dealing with some of the most abrasive and incompetent customer service people we have ever experienced. I have told everyone I know to avoid Fred’s at all cost unless you like to be insulted by incompetent ‘customer service’ people’ .

Received a stove we bought as ding and dent for a good price. After install we decided we wanted one that wasn’t ding and dent and they quickly responded and exchanged with a reasonable price difference. Salesman was very knowledgeable (much more so than box stores) and delivery guys were super careful and attentive. I would do business with them again.

Chris Stevens is the Best! He knows his stuff and gets you in and out with what you need. Highly recommend talking to Chris. The 5 year warranty is great if you don't end up needing it you get to credit it to a new purchase.
