Been trying for hours to get live help and an estimate for laptop repair. Phone system said hold time 7 minutes, left number and over 40 minutes for a call back. Call disconnected in first 90 minutes and they have our number. No call back, ever. You folks suck!!!

Lied about there insurance and now I'm out 1500$ on this and they won't even work with me very disappointed with the service and there works

Chatted online with them first and was told it was a $39.99 service fee plus the price of the software. When we took it in to the store the only option told to us was a 179.99 a year membership fee, no other options or the fact that you don't need a membership was told to us.

I have never met a group of people more rude. That is the most direct reason for the review.The second is their system for appointments is a joke. When I made my appointment online, I had to correct the website three different times as it kept trying to book the appointment in Seattle, though we live in Idaho. Finally, I was told by the “success page” I had booked it for a Friday at 10:40 AM.When I arrived at the store to check in, I didn’t get, “oh, dear, we might have a problem.” The man behind the counter said “I got two guys telling me the have 10:40, what’s your name?” “Nope, not in my system, you must have made it at another store.”He didn’t even try to find a solution. He didn’t say, “man, that’s frustrating”, he didn’t say, “let me help this gentleman and see if we can fit you in somehow.”Were this isolated, that would be one thing, but it’s not. With two notable exceptions, the entire Coeur d’Alene store is dismissive and rude. As a result, I never enter another Best Buy. I will never buy from them online. So, the $10,000 I spent there in the last 18 months goes elsewhere.

Their computer and auto partners are not only incredibly skilled and helpful, but are also some of the friendliest people you could ever ask for! :)And don't worry about getting overcharged as some people may believe, they explain everything that is required in your service and assure you that you are getting the best deal you possibly could

I was on time for my appointment but someone was ahead of me that took long so I was no longer on the waiting list and had to make new appointment. Biggest waste of time I’ve encountered and would not recommend.

Scheduled a appointment to have them look at my laptop Because it was was bugging out, I contacted the manufacturer and they said I had it under warranty and told me to take it there, I told them my problem and they said I could be a really simple fix but they wanted to charge me 100 dollars for a “diagnosis” then another 50 bucks more for them to “fix” it, way to over priced for a “simple problem”

Note:This review is on the geek squad portion of best buy.I previously paid them $200 for a contract to cover my items.I called ahead to drop off a laptop and printer. They said they have to repair by appointment only and I said I know from last time...I just want to register them in and leave. They said I would have to wait 20 minutes..I said ok.When I got there they told me I am not allowed to drop off anything off for repairs accept by appointment. I told them I called ahead and got permission there would be a 20 min wait but that did not matter...furthermore there was no one waiting in line...just me. Unbelievable! They got my money and I guess to them that's all that counts.Do not buy their contracts ...its a farce and they do not keep their agreements. I reiterate this is a review on geek squad.I have asked them for my money back and so far no response!

I called and made an appointment with them. The person who answered the phone asked me my address and set up an appointment for the following day and stated someone would be here. I had to call 25 minutes after my scheduled appointment because nobody showed up. The person answering the phone said my appointment was in-store. I explained to him that I was told someone would be here and I was asked what my address was. He continued to talk over me and I asked him to please let me talk...he never stopped talking and I quote "I am done with you" and hung up on me. Extremely unprofessional so I will never recommend their services to anyone. Needless to say I went to another computer service store.
