Since they became Alaska based banking, it's just been problems. I can't log into my account again, and they don't give you a warning about it. Now I'm getting charged every month from them. Please get rid of Alaska banking, and go back to the way that worked

Absolute joke of a business. I went to use their ATM after hours, and when I inserted my card, the ATM froze and LOCKED MY CARD. I contacted the police to try to get ahold of the owner, but nothing.Assuming that my card will be locked overnight, I left and decided to come back the following day to find that THEY LOST MY CARD. My only card that I have, GONE because of their incompetence.

Before the legacy Global merged with AlaskaUSA this place was the best now it's decent. I had a HELOC and never once had a problem. I'd make regular payment and some would go toward the principal and interest. Once everything started to be managed by Alaska they changed the statement date ans due dates so basically now my entire payment would only go toward interest. Look at any other credit union besides this one, I ended up going with Gesa and doing a loan with them to pay off that one since they Global now is so horrible. Gesa is doing the loan right which is how Global was doing it before Alaska took over.

We were with Global for many years, loved them, then they merged with Alaska Credit Union. They quickly have become the worst financial institution I have ever had to deal with. We have now moved all of our deposit accounts elsewhere. Good luck to anyone who deals with them.

I love the staff at Coeur d' Alene, but the new ownership is a wreck. The online banking process is completely outdated and almost indeciferable.

If you are looking for a co-op branch, this isn't it and I would not waste my time at this location. Global is part of a co-op branching system but the tellers are either not trained properly, or just lie to customers on a whim. Before I went, I called the branch directly to confirm that they could indeed make a deposit to my credit union and they said absolutely, they only needed the acct number. When I got there, they told me that my bank left the co-op, (which is a flat out lie) so they could not make the deposit, after I had confirmed with that branch two hours prior. When I got home, I called Global's 800 number and Global confirmed that the Neider branch should have been able to deposit my check, I also called my credit union to confirm that they didn't leave the co-op system and they hadn't. They are not reliable for the credit union co-op shared branching system. I am typically very understanding, however this experience was pathetic. I checked the website and they were listed, I called the branch to confirm and was told yes, I had the proper deposit slip with the CU's name and my acct number.I am so disappointed in this branch and the tellers I dealt with today. Oh! And the best part is the teller who told me my CU wasn't a part of the co-op, said I could "try my luck" at depositing it via ATM. So you just said my CU isn't a part of the co-op, and you want me to stick my checks into your ATM and just see what happens? It was truly an insane experience.

I don't often write reviews, but when an individual exceeds my expectations and provides exceptional service , it should be recognized. Global is a great credit union, and that is due in large part to the front line employees that we as customers interact with.Kasala Moyer , consumer loan officer at the CDA branch is one of those exceptional individuals that is one of the most organized, personable, and professional people that I have ever met. I highly recommend Kasala Moyer and Global Credit Union , Coeur d'Alene ID.5 star rating on all categories !

You can’t pay your Global credit union mortgage at a Global Credit union bank. They don’t allow it. Go to another bank, there’s plenty out there. I hope this bank gets Baught out someday and my loan sold off to a more refined credit union.

I am a member of a credit union out of the area in the shared network. It seems too often doing transactions in other credit unions, the process is so awkward. I appreciate the quick, smooth and professional transactions at this credit union. Exceptional people and service!

Terrible experience in regards to land/home loans. I personally know 3 other people that have had the same experiences. In all 4 experiences people have lost their land because global dropped the ball. They drag their feet and don't understand efficiency. I do not suggest working with them. I will be filing a complaint with the state finance department.

Opened new accounts here about 2 years ago & can say that we love it! We love the points we get rewarded by using our debit cards. The tellers are always friendly and recognizes us when we co e in and the kids get their lollipop and I get a cup of coffee. Great place to bank!
