Purchasing from Hayden cars could have been a really great experience, even though the car that was sold to me had a very obvious problem that was brought to the attention of the shop within several days of the purchase. Instead, this turned into a 1.5 month long ordeal between taking the car between them and Volkswagen to diagnose and fix at least 1 defective wheel bearing and a transmission service that had never been done on the car, which has over 100k miles. It's just a let down because I was told they would help with the issue. The entire time they ensured me that if it came to that, they'd step in and at least do something, maybe cover 50% of the bill. Anything. Especially when I left $1400 of removable upgrades on my trade in car because they asked me to. Because I believe in good business and the car I was trading wouldn't have been complete without it. Guess how fast my car sold? Now after trying to manage 3 weeks of work without having a car, and putting $750 to fix a car I'd literally just purchased, there's nothing they can do. That's business right? So when they let you take your car on a test drive, consider driving it to a shop to get it checked out because if somethings wrong with it, no one's gonna have your back. I'd be out $1750 if I hadn't purchased the warranty.- Edited - After viewing your response, the car was sold as is, and we agreed on that, but lying about the state of the vehicle and ignoring damage to avoid paying for work is not in the contract. You have the car fax and the lack of a transmission service for over 100k miles is something you should have addressed. And anyone who drove that car for 2 minutes above 60 miles an hour would have known there was an issue with the vehicle. This place is borderline dangerous with the lack of care regarding the vehicles they sell. If their techs didn't see anything wrong with the vehicle either I wouldn't go there for work. Volkswagen WOULDNT LET ME LEAVE without the transmission service because it was in such bad condition.

I purchased a 2006 Subaru Outback 2 years ago from Brandon, he gave me a fair price. Now 2 years later, my teenage daughter has been driving this car with absolutely no problems at all. The whole process was easy and I would definitely do business with them again. Thank you Hayden Cars!

Enjoyed working with Dakota and Mikki during our recent purchase. They were both friendly/knowledgeable, felt like they understand the perspective of today's customer and had great communication. Overall, it was a smooth/efficient process from start to finish.

The absolute worst vehicle buying experience by far!! If there was a negative number, they’d get it! Absolutely no service after sale. Bought vehicle over the phone with salesman word the vehicle had no problems. Picked vehicle up to find out it had no exhaust after catalysts and tires shook so bad at60-65 could hardly hold on to steering wheel. The service manager quoted me 1000.00 to put muffler and tail pipe on and then wanted me to buy new tires because they were cupped. Sent vehicle in with my daughter to have tires balanced, which the service manager said he would do. Sent her out the door saying it would do no good to balance. Tires were more than likely cupped from being out of balance…. Deflated would not recommend!!! Mikki, the secretary seemed to be the only honest person there.

Sold me a 2014 Toyota Sienna at a good price. Was an easy and smooth process. Windshield had a small crack, they agreed to replace for free. They did their own inspection and maintenance (and produced records). I also had the vehicle inspected and it checks out great. So far very happy with the purchase and my experience with this business. Would recommend!

My experience purchasing a vehicle at Hayden cars was excellent. I found a posting on Craigslist for the vehicle I was interested in checking out. I live in another state and called, late on a Saturday, to be sure that the vehicle would be there. To my surprise Dakota answered, outside of business hours, gave me the rundown on my intended purchase, and said he would keep in contact with me if anything were to change. The next week I called in to speak with Dakota. I got Mikki instead who was also very polite and answered more questions that I had. Although they could not hold the vehicle for me, they both kept in contact with me throughout the next week to let me know the vehicle hadn’t gone anywhere.I found myself at Hayden cars 6 days later to be greeted by both Dakota & Mikki, and even the owner, a friendly group of folks. They were all very informative, friendly, and quickly got to work to make our time smooth and enjoyable. An hour or so later I was back on the road in my new truck!I will shop at Hayden cars in the future and would definitely recommend them to friends and family. Thank you to the team at Hayden Cars! High fives all around!!

My husband and I drove 2 hours to buy a Ford Ranger from Hayden Cars. The entire experience was so great. Dakota was our sales person and he was friendly and kind. The receptionist was helpful and pleasant and even the dog was sweet. I couldn't ask for better service. They were upfront about the truck and took it into the service bay when my husband questioned something. Fixed it and all was good.We will 100% return to buy a car when it's time.Thank you Hayden Cars. A++

Found a car online then went in to test drive. Easy transaction and straight forward to work with the office. However, I do feel slightly lied to I asked what services are done on the vehicle before selling and I was assured an oil change and fluids had been flushed. I asked to see the paperwork of them being done but conveniently the paperwork was lo ked in an office we could not access that day. Turns out when I got the paperwork the next week the only thing done to the car was front light bulbs and a battery. I still have headlights out (my fault for not checking) and no other maintenence was completed on the car. After going back and forth a few days an oil change should have been offered as I asked many times so I wouldn't have to go do this 9 months pregnant or wait until I'm with a newborn to get it done.Overall I am still happy with my car but will need some money put into it and I wish they were a little more honest about what I'd need to do on my own. Wouldn't have been a problem either way.

So... a weird one. I am writing a review for a used car dealership where I did not purchase a car, but let me explain. I *wanted* to buy a car here, but can be picky and super high maintenance; I was looking for some very specific things in a vehicle... in hindsight that may have been unreasonable; I actually ended up buying a a new vehicle, because it became clear that I would not find what I wanted in my timeframe on ANY used lot. Hayden Cars is a used lot with limited inventory, so they can only sell what they have at any given time. It's how this works, duh. About the vehicles, the ones I looked at were VERY clean and presentable, so their garage and detail shop does a great job prepping their vehicles for sale. Now I want to tell you about the salesman I worked with. His name is Dakota, and honestly, even through my 60K Jeep Rubicon, I have NEVER had ANY salesperson who worked harder for me. For several MONTHS this guy was watching his inventory and sharing vehicles with me that checked some or most of my boxes. He's a hard working young dude who legit had my best interests at heart, and every interaction with him showed that. Some used car salesmen get a bad rep for legitimate reasons, but there are some who are truly professionals, who take their job seriously, as well as the needs of the customers. With Dakota, I never felt the pressure of a hard sale, but was always treated like a valued customer. Yes, his JOB is to sell cars, but I always felt like a human being being treated with respect, not just a number on a quota sheet.I just read a scathing review of Dakota below, which is why I felt so motivated to take time out of my busy schedule to write this review say that without equivocation, my experience was 100% the opposite of that review. In fact, it is SO totally different from my personal interactions with this young man that I have a very difficult time even believing it could be true. To me he sounds like a disgruntled dipshit who didn't get his way, or an employee of another car lot trying to lower this businesses score.Straight up, Dakota is a good, hard-working guy who treats his customers with respect. That was MY experience, and I hope it is yours as well. The dealership gets five stars, mostly because of this fantastic salesman. Dakota personally gets five stars because of all the things I listed above. If I am ever in need of a used car... Dakota and Hayden Cars will be the first lot I visit. He has earned that distinction with me.Thanks Dakota! Don't let the haters get you down... you're great at your job!

A truly deplorable and disreputable representation of what people should come to expect from local businesses here in the inland northwest. In an age where sales is a multi-faceted operation, a business must be able to handle the very basics when it comes to lead follow-up, and follow-through. Prospective buyers should be aware that by their own admission, as of the phone conversation I finally had with sales associate Dakota on 12 August... he is the only member of the sales team. Which, apparently excuses his complete disappearance from all communications with me on an inquiry on a vehicle ELEVEN days ago. A situation that was only rectified after I sent a complaint and had business development manager Mikki Budrow step in and prompt her associate to contact me. To *her* credit, when Mikki was made aware of the situation, she stepped in and had the associate finally call me back. I am grateful for her efforts. However there are obvious staffing, training and basic service deficits that need desperate attention. When there are plenty of other reputable establishments able to operate even the most basic of customer service tasks above reproach, it's definitely something to consider. #BUYERBEWARE

Hayden Cars had a nice selection of cars and trucks on their lot, but what made my buying experience so special was how everyone there went above and beyond in providing pre and post purchase customer support. Buying a used vehicle can be intimidating sometimes, but I found dealing with them a very pleasant experience. I would recommend that people looking for a good deal on a used vehicle check them out.
