“We loved this place! Immaculately clean. Super cute, spacious rooms. Easy in and out. You can drive right to your door. I’d stay again and again. Very close to downtown, easy hop on the freeway also. I read a review that there wasn’t a door latch? That’s not true. Both doors had dead bolts, they didn’t have the extra swing bar.”
“Our stay at One Lakeside was perfect. The rooms were clean and spacious and was filled with everything we would need for our five day stay. You couldn’t ask for more regarding the location. Being right across the street from The Coeur d’Alene resort and easy walking to all the stores and shops on Sherman Avenue. However, what truly made our stay even more perfect was the outstanding friendly and helpful staff especially Ryan and Tricia.”

“Hubby and I celebrated 23 yrs together. We ended up in the Victorian room. Each room has a different name and theme to coincide with the name. The bed was comfortable, very spacious and updated appliances and decor. The location is perfect, walking distance of so much: restaurants, shopping, park, library etc... We enjoyed our honeymoon here 23yrs ago and enjoyed it this year (2026). The lady in the office was very nice, polite and respectful in answering a few questions about the area. So much has changed in 23 yrs.”

“It's a beautiful home but could use some TLC. The decor doesn't really fit the charming style of the home. Feels kind of cheap and like they just put in there whatever they could find. Our bedspread was very drab and just could have been much cuter. Definitely try to book a room with its own bathroom. Walking across the hall to your bathroom (even though it's just for you) running into other guests in their robes is awkward. Lastly, having to wait until 9am for the breakfast is pretty late for most people. Then when it is served it was only one hot item so we could've just eaten some fruit hours earlier. Also no toast or cereal variety.”

“Just needed a place for the night. It's located close to restaurants and winco. It's quiet and the air conditioner works great. The lobby staff was friendly and helpful. There's coffee in the morning. No fridge or microwave but we didn't need it. Lots of parking. And a pool”

“This place won't appeal to everyone. The building is in need of some TLC and a few updates to make it look nice, with that being said, it served my family's needs quite nicely. It was in a more quiet location with beautiful views of the lake. The hosts were very nice and helpful. Will definitely return.”
“Very outdated, which is actually ok in my book; however, the maintenance has not been kept up with. The location is perfect! The Belgium waffle maker was excellent too!”
“Great spacious room. Very clean. Great breakfast. Bed comfortable. We checked in about 9:30-10pm. The lady was super busy taking selfies and chatting on cell phone. The two ladies at check out were very professional. But overall the hotel was good.”

“This is a very cool old home and I am sure that for some people it is ideal, however if you're anything but leisurely this probably isn't the choice for you. There isn't somebody to check you in, somebody from the restaurant did and they didn't really know what to do. It's barely even marked as a hotel and it is more of an Airbnb than a hotel. Again, it's very cool this is an old home kept in good shape and there's real value there, but above all if I could change one thing please get better mattresses, there is zero historic value in an old mattress. They do provide earplugs but the walls are very thin”
