I've rented the same unit here for 6 years now, since about 2018. I've had the same unit here. When it was key lock storage all as well. There was small issues from time to time. But nothing outrageous. I am standing in my unit looking at my destroyed furniture As I write this At 3 AM. I came here to drop off A couple of things yesterday evening and discovered that my unit has been completely infested. It would appear to be mice or some sort of rodent. There's droppings everywhere and literally baby spider, sacks and dead spiders and webbing. Absolutely everywhere. This happened in no time at all. I was here 3 months ago.
I noticed after keylock merged with the new owner. The things went South but I had no idea that I would be going. 2 small claims for thousands and thousands of dollars worth of destroyed furniture that I can never replace. As well as heirlooms.
Literally, everything in here is wrecked I. Took videos and such. My uncle is a small claims Judge in the community, and I have a good reputation of character in the community. Im a medically retired combat veteran, I have good relationships with leaders in this community as well as assist where im able with search and rescue. I have never given a negative review for any business in Idaho and have absolutely no reason to exaggerate or slander the new owners I don't even know. All I will say is, I sincerely hope they do the right thing here, have it appraised or whatever the process. I've literally had these things in this exact unit since 2018 without any issue until now. And now it is all completely destroyed Due to very apparent negligence on the company's Account as others have mentioned. The price has just gone up-and-up. And up as well. I do not understand this and I had the same issues with auto withdrawal that others are speaking of this is officially a real nightmare and it is three thirteen a m. I got my unit sprawled out trying to salvage. I need a manager to contact me as soon as possible as I have called every number I can find since 7 pm yesterday.

Good prices for huge units. The people r nice n very helpful. Extremely accomidating!!. 24 hr access is a great thing.!!

This place is a joke. They have raised their prices three times without telling me before hand. This time it was $23 dollars and I didn’t find out until they sent the invoice AFTER they had taken my money. At least last month it was an hour prior. It has gone up an incredible amount in the last year. They say you can call them but they don’t answer when you call them. But they are on top of you when you owe them money. I tried contacting them to let them know the wiring on the side of my unit was making a horrible buzzing sound and they clearly didn’t care. I can’t wait to get out of this terrible unit. Keylock was amazing. Store local is a joke.

(In a Ryan Reynolds voice while inserting the f-bomb where you see fit)It's the worst place ever to store your things, zero stars. My lady friend's belongings were held here. When we removed her belongings, the belongings were covered in rodent feces. We have had to disinfect all of her things and throw away several other items in her unit. When she would go to the website and log in, the website would tell her that there was "no unit to link to." The management/employees never answer the phone, if you do happen to leave a message, no one will get back to you. If you somehow get in contact with the management/Logan, he will deny that you left a message by playing dumb to the situation and saying, "There were never any messages." I noticed another review that was left, saying that prices have gone up 90% over the years. While it has not been a 90% increase, it's still absurdly high. When said lady friend initiated business with this storage facility, the unit price was advertised at $175 a month. After all of the hidden fees associated with the contract and the constant increases due to, as they put it, "adding new units," (mind you, this storage facility is surrounded by Fred Meyers and suburban homes with no plausible building land within its grasp.) It becomes well over the advertised price of $175 a month. By the end of her experience with this company, her monthly bill was roughly $280. As that is not a 90% increase, it is a 64% increase from the averted price of $175. Right now, when writing this review, the lowest price for the same size unit (non-climate controlled) in the area was $65, and the highest cost for a storage unit the same size (non-climate controlled) was $75. So they are $100 more than the high average cost of a storage unit the same size (non-climate controlled.) With my combined college skills of deductive reasoning, google, and math stuff, this is a 133% increase from the average price of $75. If you look at it from the prospective of the low at $65, this is an increase of 169%. Now, remember that was all based on the advertised price of $175. Do you remember how much I said my lady friend was paying for her unit? $280 a month, that is a 273% increase from the average high cost of a storage unit the same size (non-climate controlled.) Ultimately, it would probably be to your benefit to rent from a more reputable facility. So, after I found out how much she was paying, we moved what was salvageable from the rodent incident into my 30x40 shop for free.

So when this was keylock storage, we didn't have to much issues. However, they have merged with store local and now everything is a mess. Autopay works then doesn't. Pay is all messed up. We paid for August, but then get a charge for 1 day(Aug 31) for some random reason. We were told due to promotion we would get a month free, which should have been August, but due to the merge it didn't happen, so was told would get Sept free(less $9 protection plan), ok...but they charged $6 for Aug 31(which was already pd for) and charged the $9 for Sept. So confusing and no help from anyone. Also, autopay randomly stopped and all we got was threatening emails to pay in full all labor day weekend that we better pay in full or get hit with a fee or lose unit. It's been a mess since store local took over.

I find ot so interesting how a place that is soley out to take as much money as possible from people, has such amazing reviews. I realized it's because the majority are fake, trust me. My rent for a 10×10 got jacked up to 160.00 a month, that includes an extra 8.00 if you refuse to use auto pay. They're out to benefit solely off of your hardship. I'd definitely look elsewhere, first. There are much better places in the spokane valley, that arent out to rip you off !!!!

Renting my storage unit through key lock was quick and easy. The staff was friendly and prices are reasonable and comparable to everywhere else I had checked. Overall couldn't ask for a better experience.

I use keylock Storage because they are handy and they are Secure! Their convenience of being in the area of my home is a must and the Service and the friendly folks that take care of the Keylock Storage unit, Thanks Again Folks!!

Giving them 1 star, had a reservation, hours posted closing at 6 PM, drive 380 miles to see a closed sign -see you Monday, called the customer service dept. They stated property manager should be there, but sorry nothing we can do.

I would like to commend Sonia for remaining calm while she was dealing with a very rude customer. I believe she deserves a raise after what I witnessed. A very unkind lady Jamie came in irrate about a small ($16) increase in rent after she had been here for 4 years. This customer from hell accused Sonia of raising rent so she could have a bigger payday. Which we all know isn't how this works! Sonia was kind and showing compassion while this lady kept screaming at her and calling her names, while ranting about putin. We have all been hit with rising prices but that doesn't mean we have to loose our humanity and attack an innocent employee. How awful to treat someone who was so kind and understanding even while being attacked. I am now a new customer and so happy to have Sonia here to help with my storage needs! BE KIND PEOPLE!

This is a great facility, safe, secure, and clean. They even do snow removal in the winter months. Sonya helped me figure out what would work best for us. She was very friendly and informative.

I came in and rented one of keylock storages medium sized storage units with some worries on my mind from my last unit with a different company. But i got exactly what i needed thanks to Soniah. She made the experience quick and easy and made sure that all of my worries were taken into consideration. I will continue doing business there.
