Rented a pull behind trailer to move our stuff from Idaho to California. Loaded up the trailer and went to bed that night. Came out the next morning and one of the tires is flat. They came out and fixed dit but this significantly delayed our trip plans. Then, we ran into some vehicle issues in Oregon (not uhaul related), but had to upgraded from a trailer, to a box truck in order to tow our vehicle behind us. We were told we would be able to receiver a credit for the early return of the trailer (supposed to be going from Idaho to Southern California, and returned early in LA Grande, Oregon in order to upgrade to the boxtruck). However, nobody we spoke with could take responsibility for the refund of the trailer. We were to speak with the original destination scheduling Manger, who then told us to talk to the region we rented it froms scheduling manager, who then told us she couldn't do anything because it was returned already. On top of that, when we upgrade to the box truck from the trailer, they could only give us a 26' truck(we only really need 15' in order to tow) even though they had a 20' that the sales person was trying to coordinate for us. They then had us drive an hour and a half a way to get the auto transport trailer. The entire thing was a joke and the fact that 3 different regional scheduling managers could not give me an answer on receiving a refund/credit for the early return of our trailer is jsut sad. We would not have upgrade to the truck if we knew we wouldn't get a refund, as my total cost went from 440 for the trailer to 1100 for the truck (that was way too big and FAR beyond what we needed) and autotransport trailer. Not to mention the gas in the uhaul to drive and hour and a half away and back to get the trailer. Will likely consider Penske or another service in the future.

The employees were knowledgeable and friendly. When we returned the vehicle, they were able to get us checked out in a reasonable amount of time, especially considering we were one of about 3 or 4 that came in at the same time. They almost had a blocking issue for the street, but the the guy helping us jumped to navigate the vehicles to a more organized line.

Online moving services couldn’t find my address even though it’s a huge apartment building. Guess U-haul didn’t need that extra money. Customer service was knowledgeable and criminally understaffed. The only counter woman was running two terminals simultaneously. Still answered all my questions and helped me out immensely.

5+ Stars for Bill. Bill was the only person in the very large yard on a busy Holiday weekend Sunday. Our 26’ Uhaul truck broke down moving from Boise to Alaska and was towed in night before so we were behind. While Uhaul roadside assistance was a nightmare Bill, who is older(~65), handled us with grace and kept equip moving constantly, never holding anyone up more than necessary and knew exactly what, when, and how to get things done, even when the manager inside gave misinformation. Manager did well, but Bill is the rockstar.

I went there twice before my move. I wanted to make sure my trailer hook ups worked properly and get all my ducks in a row before loading day. Every time I went there the person behind the counter was having computer issues and seemed frustrated with it. When I was having my hook up fixed, the mechanic didn't know it was just a repair and thought he was installing it. Then the person who made my appointment pointed out to me that it had already been installed. I said, yeah, I know. I made my appointment to fix it. She remembered and said she should have put notes in the computer. Then, I got a call a few days ahead of pickup day and was told I would be picking up the trailer in Spokane. So asked them to text me address. They said they would, but I found nothing. I went back to CDA and the network was down and it was extremely stressful and frustrating. I finally found out it was at a different CDA location. (A to Z rentals) that guy knew exactly what to do and had no issues. Then in Vegas my sister had issues getting her truck to move when I got there. What the heck? Why are you guys so incompetent and why don't you have a better/upgraded system and network??? You're big enough of a company, you should be more reliable and compitent than this. Geeze

Storage units are temperature controlled. My unit is a newer unit on the 2nd floor. Love it. Kuddos to Lorithe maintenance lady & her crew for keeping the place spic & span !

Locks are frozen so I can't access my storage unit. This is the tip of the iceberg so to speak. They raised my storage rent without notice. You can't access your unit after hours either.

Poor customer service, badmouthing fellow employees in front of customers (using foul language I may add) and bad attitudes can be expected from employees that work inside the building at the counter. The gentleman at equipment drop off was polite, can’t say the same for anyone else here. And make sure you take a picture of the odometer before you leave, they said I put two more miles on than I did. It’s like $5, so certainly not going to change my day, but it’s the point…. This place is shady!

First off a HUGE thank you to the schedule center they are the only ones who helped* Honestly probably the worst experience possible. After making 5 different reservations ( call center, in store manager, and scheduling office all tried. ) I waited at the cda uhaul for over 5 hours trying to pick up a truck that was Guaranteed to be there for me. They kept telling me that everything was solved and then telling me nevermind we just rented your truck to someone else. The manager was rude and seemed to be clueless. NEVER AGIAN.

Scheduled U-boxes for CdA U-Haul months in advance, but when going to pick them up was told that they are a small facility so must pick up and drop off the boxes in Spokane! That's about 40 minutes each way. This seriously impacts our move!
