“My love for animals draws me to the Companions Animal Center Thrift Store, located at 916 N. 3rd Street in CDA, to help support their noble and compassionate cause. This cozy thrift store is clean, well organized and displays high quality items at very reasonable prices. This is where I always donate my clothes, jewelry, household items and pet supplies. The staff and volunteers are friendly and kind - today, a gentleman went above and beyond to help me with my delivery. I will continue to support this wonderful store”
“Staff here were friendly, would chat and be helpful picking out pieces and assisting you shop. Lots of good sales periodically through the store, and owner is in there a lot and helps with pricing. I bought 2 star garnets, and they helped with a flashlight to look at color, they told me about the garnets, one was 25% off and one was a piece from the 1950s and was transparent so being old and rare was not on sale but the sales lady asked the owner and they agreed to give me 10% discount which is nice! And then I got a Helenite which was beautiful and also on sale! The lady who helped me was from that region and told me stories about having been through it blowing up. The lady who helped me, a redheaded lady, was the lady who helped me the entire time, she was super nice, patient, and helpful. Good experience overall!”
“I have always loved shopping at Goodwill. I have found some of the best treasures of my life at Goodwill CD’A. Equally as awesome are some of the workers there. There are a few stand-outs that I always have wonderful conversations with & they make me truly love shopping their store. There is one that truly goes out of her way to always say hi & I have enjoyed getting to know as I shop.
