“This is a great fuel station. Gas prices seem to be average or a little higher compared to other places. But if you shop and Fred Meyer frequently and you build up your fuel points from shopping, you are able to get a pretty good discount for getting gas. Up to $1.00/gallon. Overall, this is a great fuel station. Clean, have snacks, windshield cleaner.”

“It's a family tradition to stop there when heading south on I-15 and a way to remind us why we started stopping there, my Dad. Overall, I enjoy stopping there. I don't purchase fuel there because I only buy ethanol free fuel for my vehicles. The snacks from the snack shop have been tasty and hot.”

“Great little gas station. Been going there for about 15 years now. The only bummer is that they made the cement dividers so you can't turn into the gas station from certain areas where you used to be able to. Otherwise they have four pumps, clean inside. Very convenient.”
“This is where I get my propane tank refilled. Don't trade your tanks, get them refilled instead.
I bought a hand full of candy bars then discovered mice chewed the end of one of them. So check for mice.”
“Great service here. They are extra touches like a free banana with coffee, so it's nicer than a regular convenience store. Clean and friendly. Try have a Red Box kiosk out front.”

We had a car full of people that needed a restroom break coming back from Yellowstone and this was super convenient. Special thanks to the manager that grabbed my wallet after I dropped it by the bathroom. You are an angel”
“I would say every single time that I go to this gas station, I am greeted with kindness and respect. The cashier Shantell is always eager to make sure she helps the customers to her best ability and make sure they leave happy. She is very polite and kind. Every time I go into this gas station I'm excited to see her, she is by far my favorite!”

Especially a diesel truck. If you have a trailer you are SOL most of the time as well unless you block one of the entry points into the parking lot. Maverick really needs to expand on this location. They are years behind on this. Let's go Maverick!!!”

You'll learn of this awesome little gas station pretty quickly; Shaka's is a major hub point for Salt Lake Express Bus Lines.The attendants are more than cool with every traveler I've seen to through (including myself), and understand that sometimes schedules and bookings for the buses and vans may leave a traveler stranded at their store for hours, even days on end while waiting for SLX to straighten things out.The hot food they offer is better than the average highway truck stops I've eaten at. Prices on every bit of merchandise seem fair, if not less than expected.I recommend hitting them up for all your "Going-Through-Idaho" travel needs.”

“It a good place to get a quick lunch. (wish they had a bigger variety). But It will get packed Monday-Friday, because of the school next to it. So I don't recommend going during lunch. And if you got to IFHS, leave your backpack at the door, stay outside if you are not getting anything (because we only have a short amount of time.) And the Maruchan soups are only 89¢ +tax!!!!!”

“I've been coming to Holiday Oil since it was a small one room gas station and behind it was a field. I'm talking before Taco Time and Albertsons and Skaggs. I remember the days of the 25 cent refills were half the line at the cashier's. I remember buying Copenhagen before school for $1.25 then heading to Skyline. Somebody's older brother always worked there so you can guess on the rest. It will always be my West Side Migit Market.”
“I'm a regular customer at both locations and I always get greeted by name when I walk in and I always enjoy talking to the employees and I never have any complaints about anything that they do and if they are out filling propane I stand in line and wait patiently and 90 o/o of the time they have more than one working and the only time that they only have one working is from 9 pm to closing.”

“Always GREAT prices and with our Costco Citi Card we get an additional 4 percent of all FUEL charges (anywhere) plus 3% on entertainment (restaurants, shows, cruise, etc), plus 2% of all in-Costco warehouse purchases and 1% on all else. It's a great bonus at the beginning of each year. As we fuel our diesel pusher RV with that card, our yearly reward is usually $500-$600.”
