“I love this place! The staff rocks even at 3 am when you’re just needing a cigarette or a lottery ticket. It’s a hub for the majority of residents in Ammon, and locally owned business. Next time you’re in Ammon stop by there and spread some local love!”
“Total life savers!! Barely got my car to the pump cause it was almost out of gas and woke up super sick so just had bad start of the day. I wish I would have got her name but there was an issue with a previous payment and it ended up deducting off my card. Everything was fixed but because of my bank I would have had to wait for it to clear but all I had to my name was that $5, instead of turning me away like most would have she helped me. I know to some it's not much but to me it was huge. Thank you so much! You made my day!”

This morning as I was checking out a nice man I spoke with at the coffee bar had already paid for my wonderful coffee and then a nice man behind me paid for my lottery tickets and showed me how to request a print out for current scratch games! “Traveling via bus through the Gem State? You'll learn of this awesome little gas station pretty quickly; Shaka's is a major hub point for Salt Lake Express Bus Lines.The attendants are more than cool with every traveler I've seen to through (including myself), and understand that sometimes schedules and bookings for the buses and vans may leave a traveler stranded at their store for hours, even days on end while waiting for SLX to straighten things out.The hot food they offer is better than the average highway truck stops I've eaten at. Prices on every bit of merchandise seem fair, if not less than expected.I recommend hitting them up for all your "Going-Through-Idaho" travel needs.”
“I would say every single time that I go to this gas station, I am greeted with kindness and respect. The cashier Shantell is always eager to make sure she helps the customers to her best ability and make sure they leave happy. She is very polite and kind. Every time I go into this gas station I'm excited to see her, she is by far my favorite!”

“I always go here because of one employee. His name is Ryan. He's by far the best employee I've ever done business with. It doesn't matter how busy he is he'll go out of his way to make sure I'm taken care of and I see him do this for anyone who comes in. He is the example that every employee should follow. Can't say enough good things about him. Thanks for all you do Ryan.”
“I'm a regular customer at both locations and I always get greeted by name when I walk in and I always enjoy talking to the employees and I never have any complaints about anything that they do and if they are out filling propane I stand in line and wait patiently and 90 o/o of the time they have more than one working and the only time that they only have one working is from 9 pm to closing.”

“They always have nice folks working there. Stop in quite a bit since it's around the corner from my work. They have a typical selection of beverages, sometimes they have hot food, cigarettes - pretty much a solid gas station. Oh, gas prices are pretty standard versus the rest of the area. They have a frequent buyers card that you can use your phone for - gets discounts on gas and other stuff.”
“Had one of the best experiences, I had lost my card was trying to use Apple Pay, they took my card number and it was still not allowing there system to let me purchase a wash. The manager was so nice and sweet to give my very very dirt a car a car wash. Really really do appreciate them and their attendant who tried their best to help me and took care of me”

“Three years of going to this gas station nearly every day before work. What has made it memorable is Gaby. She has made my mornings and evening a little better by lifting my spirits. She always has time to help and has a wonderfully funny personality. I have forgotten bags of ice I payed for before and she reminded me the next day. Excellent memory Gaby. ?”
“I've been coming to Holiday Oil since it was a small one room gas station and behind it was a field. I'm talking before Taco Time and Albertsons and Skaggs. I remember the days of the 25 cent refills were half the line at the cashier's. I remember buying Copenhagen before school for $1.25 then heading to Skyline. Somebody's older brother always worked there so you can guess on the rest. It will always be my West Side Migit Market.”

“This is a larger location that accommodates trucks and campers on the other side of the building from the car pumps. There is also a second side entrance that goes right to the bathrooms. I come here multiple times a week before work to get a beverage and they always have the fountain drink area stocked and hot take-away breakfast ready. With two cashiers and two self checkouts they can take on a big rush and get you out the door on your way.”
“Honestly, the only reason I have to go here anymore are the awesome ladies who I’ve gotten to know using this gas station so much for the past couple years. Super bummed they got rid of the ethanol free pumps and will be filling up at Maverick on Yellowstone from now on. Also, I’m not sure what happened with the pumps programming but when they installed the new card reader systems it stopped reading my card. I’ve asked the gentlemen that programmed the card reader multiple times, but it hasn’t been resolved. One of the main reason we don’t fill up at the KJs on Sunnyside either. The 4 stars are for ladies at this station, other than that I probably wouldn’t have given as many stars to KJs.”
“Cleanest (and best smelling) bathroom I’ve been in a gas station that I remember. Usually I hate fragrance but this one was pleasant and made the bathroom smell nice. Would also pee here again in the future. Got some snacks and Leslie was very fun and friendly. Gas is noted as pretty expensive though.”
“Had fun here 2 years ago visiting some buds during October. Got drinks and food as soon at it opened in the morning. First place I visited after an 11 hour drive.”
