Meridian residents if you need your car repaired go to Giesler’s they are friendly, take the time to listen and very honest. If we lived in Meridian, Gieslers would be our auto repair shop. “Update: Once again, had my oil changed at Jiffy Lube on Fairview in Meridian. As always, they were perfect. This location does such a good job. Used them for more than 30 years. Moved to Nampa six years ago. Tried the Nampa locations. Ugh. Now I drive to Meridian for my oil changes. Special shout out to Larry, the manager at this location. After my oil change in January 2026, I went along happily thinking everything was fine and dandy, until Tuesday, 3/16/26. On my way home from work, my car started overheating. Weird, since it’s not that old (2019 model) and it’s been faithfully maintained. Long story short - the cap was left off the overflow tank and my coolant was bubbling out. After I finally got home, I called Jiffy Lube and talked to Larry. He actually remembered me and sent a technician to my home with coolant to get me safely back on the road. The tech showed up about 20 minutes later, filled everything back up and made sure the cap was back in place, played with my crazy dogs and was kind to me. I’m amazed that the cap rode on top of the battery for six weeks!! And if you’re curious, no - I didn’t notice the cap was still there at first. I sent the pic to my son and he pointed it out. 🫢. Anyway. Thank you Larry! I’ll continue to drive to you for my oil changes!”
“I cannot say enough wonderful things about John’s Auto Care Center and their incredible team—Manager Brendon, Assistant Manager Kevin, and the skilled vehicle technician who worked on our car. They were truly a blessing during an unexpected vehicle emergency.
While traveling and preparing to head back to California, our vehicle suddenly needed a new thermostat. Our first stop was the local Chevy dealership, where we were told the repair would take over five hours and that we’d have to leave the car for the entire day. That simply wasn’t an option for us.
By the grace of God, we called John’s Auto Care Center. Kevin answered the phone, and when I asked if they could replace a thermostat, he immediately said, “Absolutely—bring it on in.” From the moment we arrived, both Kevin and Brendon jumped into action. They quickly diagnosed the issue, confirmed it was the thermostat, and also recommended replacing the nearby sensor while they were in there. Their communication was clear, honest, and incredibly reassuring.
The repair was completed in less than three hours, thanks to the exceptional skill and efficiency of the technician who worked on our vehicle. Their expertise fully resolved our overheating and constantly running fan issues, allowing us to continue our trip back to California without delay.
Kevin, Brendon, and the technician were truly God-sent. Their kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help during our time of need meant the world to us. A big thank you to the technician for doing such excellent work and getting us safely back on the road.

“We were stranded in our 2014 Ford F150 on a random Wednesday in October. After a Meridian Ford Dealership told us it would be eight days until they could promise to look at it. We called K&R and they told us they could run the codes the same day. They did, diagnosed the problem, ordered the part and by 11am the next day our car was ready to go. The owner was transparent, knowledgeable and the repair cost was fair. If your paying withing credit or debit card you will pay the 3.5% CC processing fee.”

“Easily the best and fastest oil change service I have had from the Walmarts in the treasure valley. I was quoted 2hrs but felt much faster. Most WM auto centers only take appointments and the attitude of the ppl working there are not always good. These ppl from mechanics to front desk were all very hospitable and happy to help. Will definitely be back!”
“This place is fantastic! I had gone to Costco and paid a lot more for a tire. They did not follow my instructions for keeping the old tire either. Earl help me out here and he was so great! “I scheduled a tire change here today. When I got there, I found out that I would have to buy new lugnuts somewhere else, and thirty minutes later that I had ordered the wrong size online. Thankfully, the team was super friendly and helpful! They let me keep my appointment while I ran to O'Reilly's for lugnuts, and made the refund for the wrong tires quick and painless. Wouldn't be mad if I had car trouble in the next few weeks and had to talk to the cute blond with glasses again 🤷🏻♀”
