The only store we get produce at! It is local, organic, and SO SO fresh. The COOP offers sustainable, healthy options for everyone. With great discount programs and events this place is a true asset to Moscow! Try their fresh baked gluten free bread- you'll never go back to those grocery store loaves.
The Staff are all very friendly and eager to help. They have a counter located in a central area staffed by someone to answer questions and assist in helping to find products. They are knowledgeable about products and Nutrition. I really enjoyed a great sandwich. They have a big variety of fresh bread also!
Their sign is a lie. It says they welcome everyone, but they threw my sister in law out because she was unmasked for a valid reason. Moscow Food Coop will never get my business again, nor will they ever have the privilege of selling my products, even though I would have considered it at one time.
The Moscow Food Co-op is a community-owned grocery store that was established in 1973 by friends Rod Davis, Jim Eagan, and Dave and Katie Mosel. We are guided by our 7,800 owners and welcome anyone to shop in our store. Through providing healthy food, we have created a healthier planet and a stronger, healthier community. We have built our cooperative community based on the recognition that we are stronger together.
