We found a potential car at Steve's Hometown Toyota. Once we arrived, Cesar introduced himself and worked through two different test drives and all of my questions. I took them my 08 Silverado to have the front suspension done and Brandon did an awesome job with coilover recommendations! He did his research on my truck, he picked out some Belltech coilovers, chose a great color to match my truck and treated it like it was his own vehicle. “I could never say enough good things about Pete at American Apex Auto repair. He is the kind of genuinely good human being that seems to be so rare to find these days. He's always been beyond honest and generous and helpful anytime I've ever had to take any number of my cars into his shop.
His pricing is beyond fair, which in and of itself is ridiculously unheard of these days. Not only has the price always been less than what I've expected, he always make sure to explain exactly what's going on and exactly what he did to fix it. The transparency you get when you go to the shop is deeply refreshing.
I know there's certain things that he doesn't work on, but honestly give him a call before you go to any other shop in the area. You won't regret ever going to American Apex Auto Repair.

“These guys have saved me twice as I was driving across the country, I have a high milage cummins and the normal wear and tear happens. I had a wheel bearing and a fuel pump go out on me around Payette at sperate times, a year and a half apart. They remembered me, and recommended good tows and their work was top tier. Each time I was back on the road within 3 hours. They went out of their way to get me back on the road ASAP.In a crisis, these guys came through. Can not recommend enough.”

I called this morning and got in and new tires on and have to say how pleased I am with them! I will be buying additional tires as I always have from Les Schwab, especially In Ontario, (as you save sales tax,) and these guys are so polite and professional and prompt with service, And they got me right in on schedule and wasted no time at getting my vehicle done as I waited.? If you need to buy tires, an alignment, or your tires checked, Les Schwab is always so helpful and greet you with a smile and a friendly face.

They made space for us in their busy shop, correctly diagnosed and repaired the problem, gave me a list of things that needed attention soon and had us back on the road in about an hour. They charged a very fair price, and seemed genuinely pleased to be of service.”
“Highly recommend Phillips Auto the service was fast and Braden was helpful on getting my daughter low monthly payments which helped out a lot since she was starting college. We did have a few issues with the car after buying it mind you the car was AS IS but Todd and Braeden was super helpful on fixing all of the issues that arose on it. “This place has TOP tier service! I don't think I'll ever even look at another dealership after visiting this place! I took my parents truck in for an oil change and was greeted very kindly. They offered to rotate tires and also wash the exterior once they were finished. The oil change was complimentary, btw, because my parents purchased their truck there. But even if I had paid to do the oil, it was a super good price. While I waited I was offered water, full coffee bar, chips, and popcorn. Lots of outlets in lobby in case u have to charge phone while you wait. Free wifi and comfy environment. 12/10 would go back any day of the week!”

“I typically only write reviews if I have an amazing experience or really negative experience. This review of Modern Auto Service in Fruitland, ID is the former. Kevin and all the folks at Modern Automotive went way above and beyond any expectations I had.
I was on an extended road trip when my Sprinter van experienced sudden power loss. I called several repair shops in the area. While most of the shops I spoke with seemed to want to help me, they said they were back logged for several weeks. I explained my circumstances to Kevin and he immediately grasped the difficulty of the situation I was in. Kevin told me to swing by the shop and they would find a way to fit me in. This was about 3:00PM. He explained that their mechanics were in training that day but they would fit me in first thing the next day.
I showed up at 700AM the next day and sure enough, they had me first in line. Modern Auto Service also provided me with a loaner vehicle at no additional charge. The problem ended up being a blown out hose for the turbo. A less transparent and honorable shop could easily have said I needed a new turbo. Which would have cost more than 10 times as much. By 4:00PM the day after the problem occurred, I was on the road again.
I am so very grateful to Kevin and everyone at Modern Auto Service in Fuitland, ID. I wish they were in my hometown. If every auto repair shop had the integrity, transparency, and honesty of Modern Auto Service I feel people would not dread taking their vehicle to be repaired.”
