“I'm not a person who writes reviews, but for this experience I strongly felt I needed to share my story. I've been breeding Maine Coon cats for 10 years and it's always been difficult for me to trust my babies to anyone. A sensitive situation arose, and I found it impossible to get understanding or help from any veterinarian in Oregon where we reside. I'm not going to identify the issue, but I will say a lot was at stake. I slowly called further away from where we live when I can across Dr. Deborah Peele. She patiently listened to my story and instantly said "I can help you". So, 6 days later my husband, our 8-month-old Maine Coon and I were on a plane to Coeur D Alene, ID. We were greeted as if we'd been coming to this clinic for years. The front desk gal was friendly and inviting. We left our boy at 8am feeling confident. The day dragged on, and the clinic texted us every couple of hours keeping us updated. We were extremely nervous about the procedure, but Dr. Peele assured us all would be fine. We picked our boy up and he was doing great. We felt he was attended to well. We stayed the night in Coeur D Alene and returned to Oregon the next day. The clinic has kept in contact with us making sure our boy was doing well. Thank you, Dr. Peele and Hayden Pet Medical Center for helping us through this difficult time and getting our boy to a place he needed to be.”

“We have been through teeth extraction 3 times and it has always been brutal! After the last episode, well we didn’t trust the vets anymore. However we needed another and final teeth extraction. We found midtown vet. Staff were amazing and kind. Said they could take care of our Bailey. From having us sedate her before bringing her in they treated her with care and removed her last 10 teeth. Her recovery is usually a week to 10 days. But with there gentle care the next day she was eating soft dog food like a horse. By day 3 she was playing with her ball and picking it up with her mouth. Incredible, what the right vet and the right care can do! Midtown vet gets 5 stars and our gratitude. Thank you so very much! Cannot recommend them enough.”

“I have brought my pup here the last few years and never had any issues. Dr. McGraw is wonderful, and you call tell she has a passion for taking care of animals.What I'd like to highlight, though, is my most recent visit with my senior cat, Bella. Bella became sick very unexpectedly and quickly, and I was able to get in with her quickly, having never brought her in to them before.I lost all ability to keep it together as soon as I walked through the door with Bella and was immediately met with kindness and brought back to a room. The tech, Caitlin, came in quickly and gathered all the information from me that she needed. She also kept me updated on when Dr. McGraw would be in.When Dr. McGraw arrived she assessed Bella quickly and was very straightforward with me, which I truly appreciated. What I feared the most but expected to happen was having to put my sweet senior girl to sleep. During the whole process, I was shown nothing but compassion, kindness, and patience from all involved. There was another tech working alongside Caitlin whose name l didn't catch but appreciated her just as much. This was the hardest thing I've ever experienced, but these 3 ladies, who really were just doing their job, did it in a way that left a huge impression on me. I was alone at the appointment with my sweet girl, and these ladies truly made me feel less alone in my pain. “1) Appointments: this place is popular so when a friendly receptionist was able to squeeze in our never-before-seen puppy within a week onto a schedule booked out for a month, we were impressed 2) Cleanliness: the open lobby is pristine for a business dominated by animals and lacks an anticipated smell often associated with such institutions 3) Friendliness: being greeted by staff bearing warm smiles helps to decrease both owner and pet anxiety in what can be a nerve wracking situation 4) Vet techs: professional, knowledgeable and thorough these techs are more helpful than any encountered in other similar establishments we've visited in years past 5) Veterinarians: for reasons unclear to me, perhaps great contracts for the doctors, this place has assembled an All-Star cast of compassionate pet care experts, such as Drs Thrasher and Reese, who are as competent in their life careers as they are caring for owners.”

“Our vet in Liberty Lake told us we had about 24 hours to find a blood donor for our cat, or he wouldn’t make it. Hearing that on a Saturday was devastating, especially because Asher has been my emotional support animal since my time in the infantry. He’s been there for me through so much. Despite the urgency, this incredible team pulled through—they found a donor, tested three cats to find a match, and saved Asher’s life. I can’t say enough about their compassion and determination. In an urgent, high-stress situation, they went above and beyond, and I hope the entire team there will sleep a little better tonight, knowing they made a life saving difference for me and my friend today.”

Kyle Reijm is probably the most caring and compassionate vet we have had. We took our cat Zoey in due to idiopathic chylothorax. Dr. Reijm and his staff are the reason we will continue to come back. The absolute care and confidence they exhude when we were emotionally taxed is nothing short of remarkable. They called to check up on our Zozo and helped guide us through a very difficult time. We will continue to come here and I HIGHLY recommend this vets office. Dr. Reijm and his staff are pure gold and thank goodness we got so lucky to find them! And this is from a guy (me) who trusts nobody with my beloved Zoey....but I damn sure trust Dr. Reijm and the staff. I have been to many vets, this place had me on day 1. I wish all vets were this amazing, caring and compassionate. And the front office staff: it doesn't get better than these folks. Amazing and put you at ease with a caring smile.
