“I went to Hillview. I don’t know what else is there. Could be a house, could be a hill, could be a portal to another dimension. Doesn’t matter. I saw the sunset and now I believe in poetry.
It wasn’t just a sunset, it was like the sun said, “I’ve had a long day, I’m gonna go out with a little razzle dazzle.” Colors I didn’t even know existed showed up. Orange, pink, purple, something that might’ve been emotional gold. I stared at it so long I forgot how time works. I think I blinked and aged a year.
There were clouds doing interpretive dance, and the sky looked like it was painted by someone who’s been through a breakup but came out stronger. It was the kind of sunset that makes you want to call someone and apologize, even if you didn’t do anything wrong.
I just stood there like a guy who’s never seen light before. Five stars. Would recommend. Bring snacks and a therapist, you’re gonna feel things.”
