“Most people will find this review ridiculous, maybe comical, but I mean every word I am about to write.
This car wash is the highlight of my day every single day. Without fail. I am at this place at least seven times a week. That's right, at least seven times. It's not uncommon for me to go twice a day. Of course I know this is probably problematic, but I really love this place. While this may sound tragic, this car wash is my favorite place in the world. I have, as you might have expected, become the foremost car washer in the world due to my frequent visitations at all hours of the day. I spend about one and a half hours per wash. Now that I have established my credentials I can proceed with the actual review:
This car wash is fantastic. Maybe even the best in the world. I have read some of the other reviews, and I disagree with the negative comments. The quality of the wash is invariably tied to the quality of your washing. It is user dependent. If I want my car to look spotless, I can make it look spotless. I understand it can be expensive, but it is well worth the expense. Times are tough, I understand that. I also have the added benefit that I do not do anything else with my life besides work, and have no other expenses except gas and no dependents. But I have never, ever felt like I didn't get mg moneys worth. I highly recommend washing yourself and not using the automatic wash (or use both, which is a strategy I have employed at times). No matter your chosen modality, I recommend approaching the wash (or at least trying this once or twice) with the perspective that you are taking time for yourself. This approach has completely changed my relationship with this place (and perhaps relationship with myself, for those unlike myself that are genuinely into mental health and self improvement). I am sure many of you do this already.
This place is open at all hours. If you ever need somewhere to go, to get out of the house and escape that thing that haunts you.. this is the place to go. Take your time (if you have the money saved) and listen to a podcast or youtube video. The wash is incredibly satisfying when you do it yourself. The physicality of it, along with being outside, is the perfect combination to get out of your head (it is a more effective and safer alternative to benzodiazepines and other other such anxiolytics/depressants). If you cannot afford it and I happen to be there I will personally pay for your wash if it is something that will do you well. That is how strongly I believe in this place. I am either in a grey BMW 230i or army green BMW M4 Competition.

I have gotten to know the owner of this place. He is absolutely astounding, totally unlike the stereotypical business cat that doesn't care about anything except profit. He has been responsive, kind, and fair with me on every interaction. He is awesome and it's great knowing that this place I cherish and financially support is run by a good person.”

“Greg is such a great employee. He spent over 30 min helping me get my keys out of the vacuum. He ran back and forth grabbing a ladder, a pipe, and a grabber just to get my keys out. He wasn’t obligated to help me at all but insisted on getting me my keys. “I’m not gonna leave u stranded” is what he’d repeatedly say. Best customer service ever.”

Noah who works here absolutely great guy. We had great conversation. He was very helpful and explained everything well.
I was not know that there was floor mat cleaner (rubber and carpet) here. Thanks to Noah I learnt where is it.

Swift Wash in Crystal Lake really lives up to the “swift” part—except for one thing. Everything is spotless: the vacuums suck in a good way, the car wash is smooth and shiny, and my car leaves feeling like it just got back from a spa weekend.
BUT… I have a monthly pass. I’m supposed to glide through like royalty. Instead, I’m hanging halfway out my window like I’m trying to order fries at a drive-thru in 2003, just to tap “no thanks” on the upgrade prompt. I didn’t come here to do yoga stretches and touch-screen negotiations—I just want the wash I pay for!
Seriously, can we get a “never ask me again” option? I love you guys, but I don’t want to play touchscreen Twister every time I roll through. Keep it clean, keep it moving!”
“I came here strictly because my name is Brittain. Let me say i was not disappointed. I got the $12 dollar wash. The man scrubbed the front of my car before i went through the wash and on my way out there was a man ready to catch the car for a hand towel drying. There was s blow dry feature he just got the excess water the dryer left off and i loved that. The vacuums had the best suction for a vacuum. And i was given the cutest air freshener. If im ever in Elgin again ill only go to Brittains.”

“I got my SUV detailed here and they did an excellent job. My car was VERY dirty from all the dogs I bring in it. I own my own dog business and often do pet taxi or bring my dogs in it after getting all muddy at the dog park. So there was a good amount of dog hair and dirt. It smelled and looked so good after.
I also go here every month or so to get their full service cleaning which is really affordable for keeping up with any dog hair or dirt :)”

“I reached out to these guys 50 minutes before close on a Saturday afternoon after realizing I didn't have the parts needed to complete a stealth mounted radar detector install on a relative's car and might not be able to complete the job in time before my flight back home.
I got some good advice, and a decent quote for my relative to get the service they needed on Monday if I couldn't complete the job on time.
I ended up getting the parts I needed in time and was able to wire everything up correctly, but I wanted to leave a review so that others know these guys seem to know what they are doing and charge reasonable prices for the effort involved.”

“While pumping gas, I stupidly locked my phone and keys in the car. Shiva, the attendant, was gracious enough to allow me to use his phone call my husband to drive over with a spare. Then because it was during the snow storm was kind enough to allow me to wait in the store and keep me company until my husband arrived with the spare keys. I am immensely grateful to him and would have been stranded without his help. I would also like to point out that I have interacted with him on several ossacions and his customer service is why I this is my Togo store to get gas and will continue to be loyal patron.”

“I joined the club and can visit twice a day for a month. Each location is different because they had bought out other car washes so the one I go to is in Wheeling, IL on Milwaukee Ave because you get a longer car wash. (Your $'s worth). All staff are very nice always says hi.”
