“While pumping gas, I stupidly locked my phone and keys in the car. Shiva, the attendant, was gracious enough to allow me to use his phone call my husband to drive over with a spare. Then because it was during the snow storm was kind enough to allow me to wait in the store and keep me company until my husband arrived with the spare keys. I am immensely grateful to him and would have been stranded without his help. I would also like to point out that I have interacted with him on several ossacions and his customer service is why I this is my Togo store to get gas and will continue to be loyal patron.”

Swift Wash in Crystal Lake really lives up to the “swift” part—except for one thing. Everything is spotless: the vacuums suck in a good way, the car wash is smooth and shiny, and my car leaves feeling like it just got back from a spa weekend.
BUT… I have a monthly pass. I’m supposed to glide through like royalty. Instead, I’m hanging halfway out my window like I’m trying to order fries at a drive-thru in 2003, just to tap “no thanks” on the upgrade prompt. I didn’t come here to do yoga stretches and touch-screen negotiations—I just want the wash I pay for!
Seriously, can we get a “never ask me again” option? I love you guys, but I don’t want to play touchscreen Twister every time I roll through. Keep it clean, keep it moving!”
“I always have a great experience at this car wash. Waldo, one of the attendants, took the time to explain all the new wash options and the memberships in a really clear way, which I appreciated a lot. Nick also always treats me really well whenever I pull up to the kiosk—his customer service is honestly some of the best I’ve seen. There was even a tall gentleman who helped me put my car in neutral once, which made things super easy.
My car always comes out looking great, and I’ve noticed a real difference since they started using the new graphene spray. my paint looks shinier and stays clean longer. I did have a little bit of water left on my rearview mirrors, but overall this is the best wash in Barrington for sure. Definitely recommend.”

“I got my SUV detailed here and they did an excellent job. My car was VERY dirty from all the dogs I bring in it. I own my own dog business and often do pet taxi or bring my dogs in it after getting all muddy at the dog park. So there was a good amount of dog hair and dirt. It smelled and looked so good after.
I also go here every month or so to get their full service cleaning which is really affordable for keeping up with any dog hair or dirt :)”

“I came here in the past and had a bad experience, but I heard it’s under new management and decided to give it another shot — and I’m glad I did! The water pressure is excellent, and the wax is actually satisfying to use. They offer both self-service bays and automatic touchless options. Best part? They’re open 24/7. I also heard the owner is usually on-site and helpful, though I haven’t needed to contact him since everything’s been running smoothly. Definitely recommend now!”

“I bring my black Jeep renegade there everyday. More times than not it's closed because of repairs which annoys me but the kids that work there are really good people. They are very respectful. Also the blower doesn't work too good I have to wipe my entire car down after leaving the wash EVERY TIME! So like I said before the team there is really good I just think the owner needs to stop putting a Band-Aid on his wash and get it fixed right so we're not always going there and have to turn around because they're closed again get off your butt owner put some money into your business people know what's going on”
“Today is Veterans Day and yesterday I brought my car and to wash a lot of salt off after the snow storm. There was some salt residue left that I didn't see until I got home. I went back this morning and spoke with Mia and she could not have been more helpful. Before she ran the car through the tunnel she took the pressure washer and went over it front to back and then ran it through the tunnel and had me pull back to the front so that she could personally inspect the car to assure that it was clean. I highly recommend Matt's car wash solely on Mia's attitude and concern that I did not leave without being satisfied.”

“The hate this places gets is terrible, the car reader works just fine just read the diagram and insert it the way it pictures, worked first time. The same as every other self service, you have to allow the machine to pressurize the soap, wax, ect. It’s not going to shoot out immediately, but once it does after about 4 seconds there is a generous amount to use, I also went at the end of the night during the busy snow season, so people were here all day, bays were clean and tidy. To curb some people’s experience with the cost, when you use the knobs to select what soap you’d like to use, select the stop for now button and it’ll stop charging you, once you slide it back to the other options it’ll begin charging again, this is normal for every self service wash. Please educate yourself before bashing an establishment such as this, type of shit like that is lame.”
