“Came in to get balloons and it was such a delight being helped by Zeven! The transaction took a while as the balloon had to be inflated and I have zero complaints because the service I received literally made my day! Keep up the great work!”
“I had to come back and leave a review because the customer service at TJ Maxx in Algonquin was honestly outstanding. Last Friday I came in and noticed how amazing the atmosphere was, and when I returned today, I knew I had to say something. Manager Sarika went above and beyond with both the employees and customers. You can instantly tell when someone truly cares about their job, their team, and the people walking through the doors. She was professional, kind, patient, hardworking, and handled everything with such positive energy. It’s rare to see management that involved and supportive anymore, and it made the entire store feel welcoming and organized. Ximena was also absolutely wonderful — friendly, helpful, and so sweet during checkout. The other cashiers were great too, even though I didn’t get all their names. Everyone seemed happy, respectful, and genuinely helpful, which says a lot about the leadership in the store. You can really feel the difference when a store is run by someone who leads with kindness and professionalism. Sarika should truly be recognized for the incredible job she’s doing. This was one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time!”
“Fefe! Fefe! What a pleasure working with you today. You made my OK day into a Awesome Day! I hope your management knows how lucky they are you work there!! Great Customer Experience!”
“Traveling across the country, Dollar Tree is always a necessary stop. This particular location was the Cleanest and most Organized location I have EVER been to. I mentioned it to the Manager and she pointed directly to her employees to give them the credit! Kudos to them all!”
Burlington Stores is giving its locations a major makeover. The off-price retailer has already transformed about half of its 1,115 stores and plans to complete the redesign across its entire fleet by the end of 2026. The company calls this makeover "Store Experience 2.0." Gone are the cramped aisles and confusing layouts that once defined discount shopping. Instead, Burlington is creating wider walkways, organized sections, and clearer signs to help shoppers find what they need.

The store is launching new items under its own labels, including ice cream, cinnamon rolls, coffee syrups, and salad dressings. The move comes as store brand sales reached $271 billion in 2024, up nearly 4% from 2023.

Dollar Tree is moving into 170 former 99 Cents Only stores, marking a big shift in the discount retail landscape. The company announced Wednesday it's taking over leases in Arizona, California, Nevada, and Texas, with plans to reopen the stores under its own brand as early as fall 2024.
Ollie's Bargain Outlet just landed a great deal of its own, winning a $14.6 million bankruptcy auction for 11 former 99 Cents Only store locations across Texas. The discount retail chain pounced after 99 Cents Only abruptly went out of business in March, shuttering all 371 of its stores in California, Arizona, Texas, and Nevada. Ollie's quickly made an opening "stalking horse bid" to grab over a dozen of the empty properties.
