I had difficulty with the app returning my truck, I went inside and asked the gentleman that worked there for assistance with the return. I was told to leave the keys and he would take care of it. I was under the mileage I originally requested the truck for, but for some reason once I received my final receipt I was charged much higher than what was expected, I also did not receive the equipment I requested in my reservation and was still charged for it.

The person that assisted us that day had excellent customer service, very nice, calm, and detailed. I will recommend anyone looking for great customer service to visit this location.

Rented a van. Checked in on mobile and followed the instructions to go in and get the keys. They are literally checking out the same van to another customer who also had a reservation. The woman helping me asks do we not have a van? The coworker says no this man is taking it. I understand that we were both trying to get the same van at the same time, but my transaction was complete. I had an active rental. They offered me a truck which I declined. They had to cancel my rental. I’m sure I could have argued, but honestly just poor service for all involved since we both had reservations and they only had 1 van.

They sent me off in a 20 foot truck and 12 foot trailer with no electric cable between the two. I didn’t realize until the next day. I had driven up and down lake shore drive with no brake lights and no turn signals!?! Alarming incompetence. And of course this was after I had ordered a 26 foot truck but had that switched less than a day prior. I had to take a $100 Uber over an hour to go get this. Oh and the battery died the next day. Lovely experience

Very professionally run shop. Truck was there waiting for me and paperwork was easy. Truck was clean and had no issues.

My experience with uhaul Alsip was a good experience thanks to a gentleman named Clarence who took my bad situation and turned it into good. I had an accident in route to picking up the rental that I had reserved and after explaining to Clarence what had happened and that I never actually picked up my truck he then told me not to worry that he would just cancel the reservation and refund my money. He definitely could have charged me because I did reserve the truck but he instead was very understanding and I thank him kindly.

The U-Haul staff and management were excellent but the part you need was poor. I stored my home on the fourth floor, but elevator went out and took over seven days to repair. With my ankle injury there was no way I could walk up and out with items. The worst part is that I was still charged for a full month with o access. That is verybbad service.

Jazmine and Valerie, thank you. I can tell when people are proud to work where they work. First time renting a truck and between U-Haul’s easy process and the employee’s work ethic, I’d recommend this location to EVERYONE. I appreciate you both for your great customer service

The truck was fine and served its purpose. We were, however, charged an additional $5 for what I believe was moving blankets? They were hanging in the back of the truck at pickup in what appeared to be a sealed bag. We never took off the seal or used them but it looked like we were still charged for them. I contacted support but haven't received a response yet.

Service is great! The staff is really friendly, work pretty quickly to get you in and out. I’ll definitely stick to this location whenever I need a U-Hual.

Ok, to start with, I did not rent any trucks or vehicles with U-Haul. I brought my car here to have a hitch installed. Clarence was the man who assisted me. Clarence would call me to clear up questions or to attempt to get my vehicle in earlier than my scheduled time. The only problem I had here was tryin to call Clarence back, the U-Haul phone system always forwarded the call to a centralized U-Haul call center....so that was a little frustrating. BUT, Clarence kept me up to date as to the progress of my install and then he installed the unit in the anticipated time - 2 hours. The job was done neatly, on time and he and the staff at the building were all very courteous. Nice job Clarence, thanks.

Lanye and the entire new team at this location are fantastic, they all truly excel when it comes to customer service!! I have been renting here for years and this location is by far my favorite!

Extremely expensive and my vehicle had no washer fluid and there was a ton of salt. It’s cheaper to hire a freight company these days
