“DG Market is a Dollar General Store with a much larger grocery selection. I'd say it is approximately 60% grocery and 40% your typical dollar store variety. The grocery area reminded me of a low-end Aldi's or a Ruler store. They did have many name brands and then a good variety of generic brands that you most likely never heard of. Be sure to know your prices, many items I saw were not priced cheaper then your typical Target or Schnucks. I did great buying school supplies for a local charity. I was able to get a lot more here, than at the local office supply or Target stores. Also, being a greeting card junkie I was able to snag up several good cards on the cheap. A cheap card makes up for the expensive postage. I also got a package of 8 cute blank note cards for a $1. That is mind blowing. For a discount store, it was well organized and clean. There was no clutter blocking the aisles. Associates on the floor were helpful, one guided me to the correct aisle for the school supplies. When checking out, the cashier was friendly and did his job well. Trying to be politically correct, he was a special needs individual and I was happy to see DG was giving him an opportunity to work. That got them the 4th Star.”
“If you like freshwater tropical fish and want more than just guppies, neons and swordtails, Malawi is THE PLACE to go. I am an avid Cichlid collector and their stock and choice of Cichlids are second to none. They have large beautiful colored fish as well as juveniles that have a long life ahead of them to grow big and colorful.Bought a dozen or so fish over the years and not once did they get sick or introduce a disease to my tank. The store also helped me get a good deal on a 120 gallon fish tank so I could have large cichlids and breed them and working with Malawi was the best choice I’ve ever made in my time collecting Cichlids.They also have plenty of other kinds of freshwater fish and always have something cool and unique in stock. Their prices are also good, a little higher than Petsmart or other chains, but I’m more than willing to pay a little extra to help support a local small business.Employees and smart and knowledgeable and are fun and enjoyable to talk to. Also, being a wheelchair user, it was hard sometimes to get around in their store but they always helped me get to where I needed to go and always made sure I left the store with a smile on my face.Whether you are a beginner or experienced fish collector, you gotta check out Malawi. You won’t be disappointed ?”
“I bought some bird seed and stump killer. I didn't notice in the seed area some mouse droppings and traps. So be aware of any seed bags you buy maybe chewed through. The staff is knowledgeable and steered me the stump killer I needed instead of me waiting money on something else. Prices do skew a little higher for things like the birdhouses and feeders, but I would take that over high prices for feed and chemicals.”
“Nice open dock area, however I recommend blind side backing when delivering or picking up. Not much room to turn around and not worth the trouble. Staff are super nice and courteous. This is an easy place for p&d.”
“It was excellent. Got in fast and after check in only a short wait to see Vet. She was excellent., efficient and kind to my kitty. My kitty got some shots and dewormer. She was kept so calm that it was over with quickly.”
“Rescue your next pet here. Wonderful care for abandoned animals. Rescue an aging cat abandoned after 12 years in the same home when owner went into assisted living. Or kittens from abandoned mothers & more. Dogs awaiting homes as well.”

“So, we were driving to Kentucky and wanted to get our pets vaccinated for the new life we're starting. We detoured to Petco. Their veterinarian service is called Vetco.
People were fast and efficient. They vaccinated both our dog and cat. Finished within an hour. Store seemed well stocked, but I was just really impressed by the travelling Vetco.”
“Zack was an amazing puppy trainer. He explained everything in full details. He was patient and helpful with tones of tips and tricks. I’m so happy I signed up for puppy training. 10/10 highly recommend.”
