However, today, I went shopping for a new car for my sister-in-law. And let me tell you, I was in for a huge surprise.
Right as we walked in, we were greeted by this guy named Cody Schoen. He nearly pounced on us with the exuberance of a hungry husky with a serious case of the zoomies.
After speaking with him for what seemed like only a few seconds, with the skill and precision (and I think some impressive mind reading) of a Jedi Master, he picked the perfect car for her.
After some shrewd negotiations (not really, like I said this man read us like a book) he made us feel comfortable and confident in her first car purchase.
There was laughter, genuine interest, and most importantly, beef jerky.
I cannot stress how much I recommend both Raymond Chevy and working with Cody. When the wife and I finally pull the trigger on her new SUV, I know who I'll be looking for.
Captains Log 7/8/2022... Well we did it, we went back for my wife's new SUV and as true to form, Cody delivered as expected. I can't say enough for this mans patience, perseverance, and dedication to his customers. From making sure she got a fair deal on her trade-in to watching her weigh the pro's and con's of two of the same exact vehicles, he truly made sure our second encounter was as awesome as our first, except this time I brought lumpia. Thanks again Cody for all your help!
Update… again… 12/4/2025…. Cody for the hat trick! Went back with my sister-in-law to replace the car we bought during our first encounter with Cody after it met an unfortunate and untimely demise. Being as this was more of an emergency replacement then something she wanted to do, Cody listened to all of her concerns, broke everything down in a way that made sense and truly made sure she was well taken care of. Cody was able to take what was a stressful visit and made her feel at ease as much as possible and she ended up walking out with her first brand new car. As always, Cody is the goat.”

“Last minute I was able to get my tire checked because of low PSI. The tech Greg removed a screw from the tire and fixed it. I'm so grateful for people that I can depend on when things like this happens unexpectedly. From the moment I walk into the building at the service desk, to Katrina who always makes my day because she is always positive and uplifting. After my car is serviced the tech Greg explains in detail what he did, what needs to be done and when I should return. If I don't understand something he takes the time to explain it. The moment I check out with the cashier Thank you all who make my day more pleasurable, I definitely will recommend this business.”

“Story time.
I got my new car in September 2023, and it drove off the lot with tire issues. Constantly had to put air in my 2 passenger side tires and no one could ever tell me what was wrong.
A couple of months ago, my rear passenger side tire started balding really bad and showing metal so i took it to a Firestone near my house in Racine. I mentioned the constant loss of air, and mentioned I think it's a valve stem leak and they said not to worry because they do the valve stems when they do the tires. I drove away from there with no fix for that leak. And still no knowledge of whether or not it was a valve stem or a rim leak. So i take it to an Autozone and the guy tells me he thinks it's a rim leak and I'd either have to deal with it forever, or spend a lot of money on a new rim.
Now two days ago my front passenger side tire goes flat. I took it to car-x in Antioch yesterday while i was working, and they put a new tire in place of the flat, put a new tire on the front driver side because they noticed it needed it, AND told me that I was correct and i did have a valve stem leak in my rear passenger side tire. Needless to say, I'll never trust a Firestone again and these guys have earned my trust indefinitely. It's such a relief to not have to stop and put air in my tire every couple of days. Thank you for taking care of me, and my car, and for your quick and efficient work. You guys rock. Any future car problems or anything of the sort, ill be coming back to you guys ?”
