I had such a bad experience with Alexa CPA group. I wish we had never used this company, as it just complicated our tax season which was so unnecessary. I will never use again.

Initial meetings sound great, sound promising. But easily, the worst follow up I've ever experienced in my life. When they want payment, you'll get responses back but when it comes to then doing the work they promised, it could take weeks. I've been asking for the same services for 10 months. And still, not done. Yet, I've paid every bill in full. It's embarrassing.

I do not recommend this place. Everything went wrong, and I don't think they are supervising their new people very well. I got three phone calls in one day from a new person, which really made me nervous. She didn't even realize what I paid for, or what she was suppose to do to get the missing forms. I knew more than she did about those forms. They offered me a 10 percent discount, but what I needed was reassurance that there would be some supervision. This new person seems to be in the office alone with a receptionist regularly. I told them to stop working on the taxes and they ordered one year of forms anyway. I asked about a refund for most of my retainer, as I backed out before any returns were completed, and I was told I would get it the way I had paid, which was a cheque in the mail. I have not received said cheque. I called last night, but I have not gotten any response. This was truly a bad decision on my part, and I regret it. I have no idea when this deposit will arrive, if ever. :(

Very poor with communication as the other reviews say. No showed calls we had set. Mixed communications from multiple team members regarding the deadlines. I educated Alexa via my financial advisor on what wasn’t a taxable event…this lowered my tax estimate by several thousand dollars from what this firm calculated I owed. Overall not satisfied and will likely look elsewhere for next year.

Alexa CPA was hired to complete our business tax returns and did nothing but copy what was provided to them and put the numbers in a program they use. They didn’t complete ANYTHING we paid them to complete. Alexa CPA also falsely responded to a review for our Woodstock business as a scam review and said they’ve never worked with us. This is a complete LIE. DO NOT TRUST ALEXA CPA! I wouldn’t recommend them at all, and I regret wasting my time with this scam of a business.

The worst CPA I've ever had. She lies about deadlines and her staff doesn't speak English well. Very difficult to communicate with. She's more interested in working with Bitcoins than tax returns. She even tried to charge me for work that wasn't completed.

I had an initial client meeting scheduled with this CPA group yesterday and I was never followed up with. I called 15 minutes into my scheduled time and was told she was with another client and would reach out after she wrapped up with that individual. I did not hear back via email or telephone call. Would not recommend- unprofessional and disrespectful of my time.

I had a really bad experience working with Alexa CPA, I don't usually post reviews but when it comes to money and finances, this feels pretty serious. I had countless issues working with the team for my (straightforward) individual tax return. Lack of communication, filed extension unnecessarily, got audited, owed money due to their error. Unprofessional behavior, missed meetings, late-night calls. Hiring a CPA was stressful, didn't save money, incurred late filing fees. Should've done it myself.
