Midwest Audio is a high-end audio repair shop for cherished gear like receivers, turntables, guitar amps, and monitors. They are professional, provide good customer service, and are very friendly. Their work is excellent, with repairs like soldering looking original, and they charge a fair and very reasonable price. However, they are very busy and have somewhat long lead times, often requiring a wait of many weeks. This wait is expected and worth it for their quality service, though an additional expedite fee is sometimes an option. They are highly recommended for audio repair needs.

Given the constantly changing nature of modern household technology, it isn't often that I need to repair anything electronicky. When I do need it, these guys come through every time. Be warned, however - they are busy and have somewhat long lead times.
