Overpriced everything. This is not mission store this is antique store.
Better donate items to Goodwill, next door.
Respond on my review sound like answer from mental facility.

I booked a Salvation Army pickup one month ago(earliest date available)as we are moving my mom out of her home. I had listed all the furniture that was to be picked up. I was told by a representative that clothes, household items, kitchen items rugs, furniture that I had listed would all be picked up. I collected everything for a month and didn’t get rid of anything because they were going to pick it up.
The driver comes and says he can’t take almost all of it!! He said that the desks are too long, the furniture doesn’t look new, they can’t take all the household stuff.
I explained that I spoke to a representative a month ago who said to collect everything and they would pick it up. And I had put everything on the e-form when I updated it a week ago. The ticket he brought me was amended by Salvation Army but I wasn’t told.
The driver was super nice and he explained that the drivers unfortunately have the very hard job of saying no but the representatives say they’ll take everything.
There is a large communication gap between the customer, the website, the representatives & the drivers.
This made my move infinitely harder as I lost a month of time. Everything they said they would take, they didn’t.
Sadly, this experience made me not want to use this service and tarnished my experience. A move is so stressful as it is, but this made it so much harder.

Some things are priced reasonably, some a little over, but overall merchandise is in good shape

I’ve visited this Salvation Army a few times, and while I’ve found some decent items, it’s a bit hit or miss. The store is usually well-organized, and I appreciate the variety of second-hand goods available. However, I’ve noticed that the quality of some items can be inconsistent, and prices can sometimes feel a little high for used goods. The staff is friendly, but the store can feel a bit cluttered at times, especially in certain sections. Overall, it’s not bad, but it’s not the best thrift store experience I’ve had.

I frequent this store all the time and always come away with some treasure. I can't tell you how many good buys I have found. Yes prices have gone up, as have prices everywhere. Cost to operate any business cant forever stay the same.

Indian lady here who I believe is “manager” or at least she’s in charge of pricing things is beyond RUDE! She always has the nastiest comments to make and is always mad or annoyed with everyone…if you don’t like your job then LEAVE!!!

They throw random items out there, claim it’s a set when nothing matches, and won’t sell separately. A vanity from the 80’s and a chair from the 60’s put together does not make a set.
Pricing is all over the place, some items are a steal while others are a rip off. Everything here is donated, start pricing like it.

I basically donate at Goodwill. Since Goodwill was closed on Martin L King day. So I came to cheack Salvation Army which is next to it.
No tissue in the bathroom. No fittings room. So rude Indian lady at the cashier. Please don’t come here! This was the first time I have ever come here to donate - very poorly managed store! If you cannot make someone’s day but at least do not ruin their day being rude! I will never donate or come here

Call before you go to donate. They list things they accept on their website like appliances but then when you drive there they say they don’t.

People come here to get good deals for USED/Donated items. I went to purchase a cute hello kitty bowl that was stickered and put out on the floor($3.97). When I went to check out, I was told the price was wrong and the sticker looked peeled so they couldn't sell me the bowl until the person that tags them was back and adjusted the price but that it wouldn't be until the next day because the person that prices the items was gone for the day. The lady at the register literally peeled the sticker in front of me as she was telling me the sticker was peeled already BEFORE I asked to speak the the manager. Policy is policy so the manager sided with her cashier. This didn't sit right with me so I came on here to look at reviews and my blood boiled as I read reviews of this happening to other customers. I do NOT recommend you come here and use up your precious time only for them to deny selling you items they find valuable or cute to them at the time of check out because they will lie and keep your things to buy for themselves later. ? I really hope they find more honest cashiers that don't try and scam their customers. I asked cashier for her name, she said it was Alina but I wouldn't be surprised if she lied about that too. Beware!

Donation Center staff are extremely rude. There are 2 signs on the Donation Center door that say: "Don't leave things here" and "Smile, you're on camera!" No one is there, but the hours indicate they're open for donations. There's another lady there waiting there who finally says to me, exasperated: "I'm just leaving my stuff." I wait another minute and finally open the door, even though all the lights are off and there's no indication people even work here. I do hear voices inside though, laughing. I say loudly, "excuse me! I'd like to donate some things!"
Not even a response. Just a guy who walks up to me, rolling his eyes. He passed me and goes out the door, so I follow him (he has yet to even say anything to me). When we're both outside, he asks: "Is this all of your stuff?!" He's pointing to the things the lady left before me. I try to explain, but he just huffs and starts hauling. I tell him, "listen, I'm not trying to bother y'all, but it DOES say that this is a donation center..." This man then has the gall to tell me that he was BUSY and that I should have just left the stuff outside. I explain to him that either his instructions are wrong or his sign should then be updated, because that's not what it says. No response.
It did make me wonder what kind of "elite" thrift store this must be, since their staff were so discerning about donations...to my surprise, they're selling empty vodka bottles for $9.
Donate somewhere else.

Very corrupted store. They quietly take out the best things for themselves, hiding them. They say from the store speaker: don’t discuss prices, they don’t sell things to people that have already been priced, saying that the price is not right when they see the buyer’s interest in something. The prices are inflated, and in a regular store you can buy even cheaper.Very rude and uneducated sales people and especially at the checkout.YOU FORGOT YOUR MISSION!!!!

I went to donate at 7 pm an was informed that donations closed at 6:30. So I guess they don't want the donation.

A nice variety of clothes, but there are no fitting rooms and no returns. I wasn’t wiling to purchase many clothes without trying them on. The Goodwill down the street has fitting rooms.

I was very disappointed (and upset) at how the cashier (whose name on my receipt was “Amina”) treated me. My cart was full. I was at the store for nearly 2 hours. I tried on about 6 blazers. I was already near the cash registry, when I saw one more jacket, tried it on, it fit me, so I took it to the cash registry. But then I said, “wait, let me just look quickly if there’s any rips or holes on this one. Just a quick 15 secs look. But the cashier sounded annoyed, said ,” no! You have to take it out of here if you want to look at it”. I looked behind me, there were no customer in line for the cashier. I just let it pass me. So, we continued with the process. Then she told me in an impatient tone of voice, “ You need to take the hangers off and put it over there,” pointing to a place behind me. I was a little surprised because this was the first time I was told to do it. I asked her, “where should I put the hangers?”. She said, “over there!” ( pointing to a box behind me next to the other cash registry. I placed a hanger quickly inside a box but she corrected ,” no! Not there! Over there!”. I asked, “that blue basket?”. She indicated to the affirmative., so I went and grabbed the basket and placed it on the floor next to me. I removed each hanger from each clothes as she wanted me to, then later, she offered to do it herself because there’s so many. I still have a lot of items for her to ring. I already was starting to get anxious because of the way she communicated with me. The last draw was that black blazer that I liked. It had a tan tag (50%). I tried on several ( about 5-6 to be exact) blazers before I decided that I liked this one. I was very surprised and very disappointed when she said that she could not sell this one. I asked “why?”; she answered that because it was a wrong price. I clarified, “what do you mean, it was the wrong price?”. She told me that the price tag has been changed. I stayed calm, but I was very upset, at why she thinks I or someone has switched the tag. I asked if the manager could come and verify what’s the real price but she said that “there’s no manager here”. I spent so much time trying to find something that I like that fits me ; paid $122.58 for everything ( discount, and no discount), and to be accused of switching the tag? Ridiculous! Absurd ! Insulting!! I have donated so many of my nice things to Salvation Army and other 2nd hand stores a lot of really great stuff because I know it’s the right thing to do. I’ve left the country for a few years and since I’ve been back temporarily , I’m trying to buy everything 2nd hand because I’ll donate all of these again in just a couple of years. $122.58 for this purchase at this store this day. unpleasant experience with this cashier at this Salvation Army makes me not want to go back there, ever, let alone donate to them.
