The Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center is a thrift store where donated goods are sold, with proceeds funding Adult Rehabilitation Centers. The store offers a lot of unique and quality items, both new and used. Shoppers frequent the store all the time and often come away with some treasure and good buys. While the store can be pretty messy and not well lit, items are generally in the right areas. Prices are great, especially on 50% off days, and sometimes items ring up for even less than marked, resulting in a great deal. The employees are fine. Many recommend checking this store first, as it has all sorts of stuff and one may be surprised at the finds. There is a noted $10.00 fee if merchandise isn't picked up within 24 hours. Overall, it is a recommended place to shop.
They won't haggle. A flashlight is not worth any price if it doesn't come with a bulb nor batteries. I'm sure they received it with both-or at least with the bulb in it. They wouldn't lower the price. Shame too.

Good selection of shoes and clothes for the entire family. Competitive pricing! Housewares inventory also. I always seem to find items I can use.
