“Visited this store while staying with my daughter in Naperville. I shop at Publix in FL and Meijers was even better than Publix! Meats, Vegetables, bakery all high quality and clean well stocked and maintained AND the bonus of non food items reasonably priced. LOVE this store. Wish I had one close to me in FL”

“Every time I come to the cosmetics counters here I am always impressed. Kimberly and the beautiful Muslim lady whose name escapes me right now are quite an asset. Always helpful. Above and beyond. They make things very personal. I always come to them versus buying something online just because I appreciate them so much. Thank you ladies for what you do for other ladies.”

“Nice shop, seem expensive, self-service. Staff don't give a F if you need any help.
Good quality clothing and items. Expensive. You get vouchers to lure you back to buy more. Limited options and brands.”

“As a child of the 80s, I can say that I have been going to JCPenney for literally as long as my memory has been exisince. I think when we were little. It used to be JCPenney and the lower price point store 'Venture.' If any of you remember that when from when we were growing up. In the 1980's-90's, JCPenney was a higher price point marketed store; think Macy's, but NOT quite Nordstrom. I feel like now it is closer to Kohl's-esk pricing and quality. JCPenney has actively made attempts throughout it's existence to make sure they have, to the best of their abilities, adjusted their prices and seem to be in "the know" on what items to keep/not keep selling in order to fit in with the ever changing economy. For example, right now, when people can't spend much on the "flare" or "extras" they are very evidently focusing in on the necessities and (it was prom season while I was in there) reasonably priced gowns, As a department store, in general, JCPenney tries to keep their stores affordable, yet still mostly sells well made and meant to last products. The LARGE, but still limited, options when shopping INSIDE of a brick and mortar store are also incredibly nice to shop. When compared to, say, Amazon, or even Ebay or Etsy. You can never be sure exactly WHAT you're purchasing, the quality, the fit, OR if what you see even exists for sale at all. The scams ARE REAL out here, and it's nearly impossible to tell real sites, ads, and products from fake sites, ads, and products. Yes, I have, actually still do now, buy my children clothes from JC penney. They are always of great quality for a price that just, sometimes, cannot be beat! Especially as a single mother. Every CENT matters.”

“I went looking to buy underwear, there are good prices, but what I didn't understand was that the price of 4 Cartepillar brand boxers indicated $12 and I paid $14, I saw it as a misleading offer. Otherwise everything is fine, there are many things, clothes, cheap perfumes.”

“A good place to get some inexpensive items. Their pricing starts at $1.25 and quite a few things are at $3 to $5. Keep that in mind when shopping at Dollar Tree stores. But the majority of stuff is $1.25.”

“Sephora at this location was not bad but it’s kinda small. Though I was able to spot what I needed, I just wish there was a bigger selection of their products. I also visited Sephora at another location at Kohl’s in Wheaton IL and it was just as big as the other place. I don’t know, if they shrink in sizes. Because I used to shop at their bigger stores in downtown Chicago, and it was great. They even gave sample gifts upon any purchase. But not in Kohl’s version of Sephora. And allot of the products are without packaging. They come in original container. I’m all up to save the planet. I am a recycling freak, but that’s just something I did notice about their products being sold as is even if they are NWT.I went in to get something for my mom. We have similar skin & sensitivity. I usually use Clinique Hydration Jelly (the clear one) but I asked the girls at the counter for something similar but stronger. I initially came in to test out a recommended brand Dr. Something… tested out but it was too oily for my already oily skin. So I told the girls I normally use brands Clinique/Bliss/La Mere. I even brought a mini bliss moisturizer so they can see but they recommended a new brand Tower 28. I sampled out the tinted sunscreen and intensive rescue serum. Which turned out to be PERFECT. Just what I needed.FYI I have pale white skin, oily & extremely sensitive & prone to allergies. My face heats up & gets red on cold or hot weather. While all types of foundation, liquid or dry usually flakes up my cheeks. So I needed something stronger to moisturize and stick around without breaking an allergic reaction. That brand I never seen before, girls said it was knew & they immediately knew what I was talking about & showed me off to test it out. I shared a bit of portion from both items w/my mom and she found it just as effective in her skin. So that day we came to get her exact same items just a shade lighter on the tinted sunscreen. Honestly I didn’t even acknowledge at first that it was a sunscreen until the girl at the counter suggested I use it since my face heats up so easily. And I couldn’t be any more grateful cuz it really did provide immediate assistance and relief when I felt my cheeks ignited in heat.”

“This store was very very organized, I was able to find everything I needed. The staff were very kind and helpful and a lot less on the naggy side compared to other stores I’ve been to. The nice lady at the register that helped me check out, was very patient me especially after I had to unlock my card and take up a hit extra time. Whatever training you guys are doing there, please replicate and pass on to other establishments. 10/10.”
