“We greatly appreciate the doctors hearing our concerns and collaborating with us on a treatment plan for our pet. Our visit came as a result of needing a 2nd opinion on a surgery. Dr. McKenzie listened to all our concerns, and presented multiple options in an easy to understand manner. When it became clear that surgery was needed, the surgeon, Dr. Weber, performed a seamless and minimally invasive procedure. She was quick to provide updates via phone call, and gave clear post-treatment instructions that have led to an easy-to-manage home care plan. We are so grateful to have our cat, Theo, alive and on the mend!”
“Every time we passed Skycrest, our cousin would point out that is Zoa's vet, they are wonderful. Sad to say, Zoa's owner passed and we inherited Zoa. Since Zoa meant so much to our cousin, we continued to take her there. Years ago, one of Skycrest's employees found Zoa under a car, ready to give birth, she was if anything a year old. They took care of Zoa and found homes for her offsprings. They approached our cousin, who just lost her cat, and told her they have an awesome kitty for her. They have a picture of her with her kittens and all say hi to her when we bring her in. They have been absolutely helpful with us caring for Zoa, who is 13 years young. “We had the best experience at Becker Animal Hospital in Northfield, Illinois!
My dog, Bodhi, had a dental under anesthesia in March of 2025. In December, our vet noticed Bodhi needed another teeth cleaning. I didn’t want him to receive anesthesia again so soon, especially because his breed is sensitive. I found Becker Animal on an internet search for non-anesthesia dental cleanings; they were highly rate. The ratings are spot on! It was a wonderful experience.
Our dog had a temperament evaluation with a vet at Becker first. After, he was able to have a full teeth cleaning without anesthesia. The total cost was $305. Bodhi was wrapped in a blanket and his teeth were cleaned in the technicians lap. It only took about 30 minutes. The treatment included cold laser on his gums to help with swelling, and a post-treatment consultation to review his dental hygiene, findings, and optional dental products. We left with a goodie bag including a dental chew, toothpaste and a toothbrush. Before and after pics and Bodhi in goggles for laser treatment. Yes, they even take pictures for you! The office was friendly, helpful, and communicated beautifully. Stacey manages the dental bookings. She is excellent with answering questions and scheduling. A+ experience!”

“Everyone here from front desk to vet techs to doctors are wonderful. Our pooch received such compassionate excellent care for many many years. Dr Mateles is so caring, and very knowledgeable. She spent a great amount of time with our pooch at each visit. We were always able to get an appointment when we needed. When our pooch declined she told us the signs to watch for. Our family is very grateful for all the love and care we received from the entire staff. Our sweet doggie is now in heaven and we will see him again one day.”

“I want to thank all the doctors and staff here for taking such good care of my Steve when he needed it most. Although ultimately it was his time to say goodbye, I feel like the doctors here really, really tried and really cared about Steve (in particular Dr. Stone and Dr Gentry, but we saw all the doctors there!) even though we were brand new patients. “I used to work as a receptionist for a dog daycare, so I've had to talk to different vets all the time all over Chicago. Now, no longer a receptionist and I have my own puppy; Preiser was one of my top 3 to go to. I HIGHLY recommend, they have a wonderful staff and receptionists. The nurses are so kind, and treated my puppy with so much love. Like, I'm pretty sure my dog loves the vet now. They helped refer me to a specialist and helped me make sure she got the best care. Pricing wasn't terrible at all. The doctor called me personally to discuss my dog which I thought was really thoughtful. Also the lobby is so cute, and welcoming. Sometimes lobbies at vets can be rough, like they can smell, be dirty, have strange colors, and have uncomfortable chairs... but not here. It's so cute and cozy, the sun shines in, there are magazines, comfy sheets, and so much space if you have an uneasy or aggressive pet that needs space from other pets. Also I have to point out that all the plants have their own names it's adorable”

“I am a first time dog owner so when my dog injured her paw and was limping, I immediately called our vet. They didn't have any appointments for the following days so I called vca, who were able to schedule me right away. We saw Dr Orzyp and she was phenomenal. She was so patient with Izzyy as she wiggled around and so caring and gentle with her! They were able to find the sore in her paw and prescribe medication. Izzy was back to normal a couple days later! Can’t recommend them enough to help take care of your pet!!”

“We started going to March recently. We have cats and dogs and have already been here several times.
So far we are really happy here. The front desk people are always friendly. The vet techs are always kind to our pets and knowledgeable. We have seen more of Dr. Sheridan in our appointments. I think because he is newer to the practice but I don't believe he's a new vet. He's very knowledgeable. He's also to the point and explains things thoroughly.
Great experience at March so far. I would say their prices are in line for what things cost in Arlington Heights. Nothing is cheap here, but I would say the prices are what I would expect.”
“Our puggle, Coco, has been a patient at VHAH for over 18.5 years... the staff at this facility are honest, caring, and objective. They have always been extremely helpful and are worth every penny - I find them to be quite reasonably priced.
Dr. Sneed, in particular, has been a beacon of hope and is someone we can trust completely. I truly can’t imagine taking my pet(s) anywhere else.”

“My kitten needed emergency surgery after an xray at her vet showed she swallowed something metal like a battery. Staff was thorough and clear in communication on next steps, costs, potential complications, permission before handing her to a very skilled surgeon and team. They also were very tuned into her emotional needs as a tiny kitten in the ICU and kept her in a quiet area and well attended. The surgeon Dr. Kienitz and the surgical intern Dr. Sirr were excellent. Her waiting for surgery, just home and one week out.”
