Dr. McKenzie listened to all our concerns, and presented multiple options in an easy to understand manner. When it became clear that surgery was needed, the surgeon, Dr. Weber, performed a seamless and minimally invasive procedure. She was quick to provide updates via phone call, and gave clear post-treatment instructions that have led to an easy-to-manage home care plan. “We had the best experience at Becker Animal Hospital in Northfield, Illinois! My dog, Bodhi, had a dental under anesthesia in March of 2025. In December, our vet noticed Bodhi needed another teeth cleaning. I didn’t want him to receive anesthesia again so soon, especially because his breed is sensitive. I found Becker Animal on an internet search for non-anesthesia dental cleanings; they were highly rate. The ratings are spot on! It was a wonderful experience. Our dog had a temperament evaluation with a vet at Becker first. After, he was able to have a full teeth cleaning without anesthesia. The total cost was $305. Bodhi was wrapped in a blanket and his teeth were cleaned in the technicians lap. It only took about 30 minutes. The treatment included cold laser on his gums to help with swelling, and a post-treatment consultation to review his dental hygiene, findings, and optional dental products. We left with a goodie bag including a dental chew, toothpaste and a toothbrush. Before and after pics and Bodhi in goggles for laser treatment. Yes, they even take pictures for you! The office was friendly, helpful, and communicated beautifully. Stacey manages the dental bookings. She is excellent with answering questions and scheduling. A+ experience!”

“Everyone here from front desk to vet techs to doctors are wonderful. Our pooch received such compassionate excellent care for many many years. Dr Mateles is so caring, and very knowledgeable. She spent a great amount of time with our pooch at each visit. We were always able to get an appointment when we needed. When our pooch declined she told us the signs to watch for. Our family is very grateful for all the love and care we received from the entire staff. Our sweet doggie is now in heaven and we will see him again one day.”

“If you're looking for a veterinary team that truly goes above and beyond, look no further than Lincolnshire Animal Hospital and the incredible Dr. Lindsay Miller! Our 7-year-old mix breed dog, Bradley, recently had a teeth cleaning and extraction, and we could not be more thrilled with every aspect of his care. At just 12 lbs, having him go under anesthesia is always nerve-wracking. But from the moment we walked in, the entire staff put us completely at ease with their warmth, professionalism, and genuine love for animals. Dr. Miller is simply outstanding. She was thorough, compassionate, and clearly dedicated to giving Bradley the best possible outcome. Bradley desperately needed this dental work (his breath was kicking), and thanks to Dr. Miller's expertise, he came through like a champ. The difference in him already is night and day — you can just tell he feels so much better! The support staff deserves just as much praise. Everyone we encountered was kind, attentive, and made Bradley feel safe and loved throughout the entire process. “When I was fostering my dog this was the vet the shelter was bringing him to. I love that they work with shelters to help lower costs for that population. When I adopted my pup it was an easy decision to keep them as his vet. Worth the longer drive for us. I have had the best care every time I have an appointment. And when I have any concerns I send an email and they respond same day. I highly recommend Kohn. Also my dog is not dog friendly and they schedule appointments so you are the only one in the waiting room. I have never run into another animal when coming in or out and that helps keep the animals calmer. A wonderful touch to what could be a stressful experience for the animal. 10/10”

They've helped me navigate my senior cat's health journey through CKD & hyperthyroidism and I never question whether she is in the best hands. They go above and beyond to be informative, thorough, & compassionate. I never have an issue getting an appointment, pricing seems too good to be true, they are quick with follow up, I could go on and on. 10/10 would recommend all day every day. “Everyone in the office is wonderful and understanding. I brought in a stray for a health check up and I felt very welcomed. They were upfront about pricing and any treatments that were needed were discussed throughly before hand. I was also able to book a same day appointment which was incredibly helpful because the feline was running a fever. All vets are expensive these days so pricing was comparable to most veterinarian offices.”

“I used to work as a receptionist for a dog daycare, so I've had to talk to different vets all the time all over Chicago. Now, no longer a receptionist and I have my own puppy; Preiser was one of my top 3 to go to. I HIGHLY recommend, they have a wonderful staff and receptionists. The nurses are so kind, and treated my puppy with so much love. Like, I'm pretty sure my dog loves the vet now. They helped refer me to a specialist and helped me make sure she got the best care. Pricing wasn't terrible at all. The doctor called me personally to discuss my dog which I thought was really thoughtful. Also the lobby is so cute, and welcoming. Sometimes lobbies at vets can be rough, like they can smell, be dirty, have strange colors, and have uncomfortable chairs... but not here. It's so cute and cozy, the sun shines in, there are magazines, comfy sheets, and so much space if you have an uneasy or aggressive pet that needs space from other pets. Also I have to point out that all the plants have their own names it's adorable”
