Even though she called our shepsky Tucker a chunk last visit, we still love her and the team! (Tucker was offended, but always gets over it quickly after doc gives him treats!) I've dealt with a lot of different vets over the years, and these guys are one of the easiest clinics to work with ever! Highly recommend.”
“Very clean. Professional and friendly staff! Easy to make appointments and good hours. A little pricey. I used them most recently to get my puppy neutered because my regular vet had an injury and wasn't able to do surgery for a while. They were over 10% more expensive than my usual vet. Granted, my usual vet has a much more modest space, but it's still clean and the staff is great. So if cost is no object.....”

The staff were kind, professional and accommodating. The waiting room and examining rooms were clean, and their costs were appropriately reasonable. My 13-year old cat, Crosby, was scheduled with Dr Gretchen Hageman. I was impressed with her thorough examination of Crosby, but respected the time she took to explain Crosby’s treatment options. Mundelein Animal Hospital provides impeccable care to animals, but holistically treats the family. I am no longer a skeptic. I would highly recommend Mundelein Animal Hospital.”

Dr Carlson explained the X-ray and made me feel that I have made a right choice for my fur baby’s care.”

“Dr. Pete is the best bet you could ask for. The staff here is amazing as well. We recently adopted a kitten who was rescued from after a fire, the adoption agency was not able to provide much about the care that had been given. Doing extensive treatment on fire damaged paws without much medical history cannot be an easy task but Dr Pete did not shy away from the challenge. He reviewed different scenarios for what they surgery may become once he got in there. He went over different options (front paws only vs both) and offered referrals/references for second opinions if we wanted to seek them. He took the time to make sure we understood the procedure, the recovery and long term care/concerns. We knew when we adopted that there were challenges ahead and knowing our little fur baby is in the care of Dr Pete and his amazing staff makes all the difference!”

Everyone is so nice and it’s a great feeling when my pup wants to run into the daycare….I know he’s having a blast. We’ve also done a 6week training class which I found very helpful!”
